"Refreshing service level"

The phone was answered promptly, within 30 mins the boiler claim had processed and engineer booked who arrived within a few hours . My only gripe was the engineer had a very unfortunate manner to a point of rudeness .

"I have boiler breakdown cover organised…"

I have boiler breakdown cover organised by my energy provider Utility Warehouse. After paying £60 call out charge, Preferred Management sent out an engineer, apparently a new part has been ordered, this is our 5th day without heating or hot water and have been told it will be a further 2 days until the engineer receives the part. Lack of communication and conflicting information from various call handlers, really unsatisfactory service, still waiting to speak to a manager. I will be taking my business else where, I would give this review zero stars if possible.

"Assessor Visit."

The engineer stated that a repair was required, took photographs of the area and noted that it was dangerous due to the electrics directly being effected.
There was no action for over a week, which I queried with my insurance provider.
But no repair as taken place or further remedial action, but my support as been withdrawn with no explaination.
Rubbish service. If I could give zero stars I would.

"Home power failure"

My home emergency policy sent these guys out to fix an electrical fault. They were out within a couple of hours & fixed the problem straight away. Professional & tidy, 100% recommend.

"Amazing from start to finish"

Amazing from start to finish. Boiler broke down. Rory from preferred management instructed local engineer. Kept me informed throughout. Followed up by call next day. Engineer instructed was also amazing.

"Mothers Day Emergency."

Water pouring through the kitchen ceiling light at midday on Mothers Day. Contacted PMS who were very helpful and sympathetic throughout. Couldn’t get a plumber till the next day but offered to pay for any emergency plumber that I could get and that’s what happened. Fully repaired by 5pm. And they are sorting the holes in my kitchen ceiling too under my home care cover. Thank you for making a very stressful day a lot better.

Thanks to Joel who helped sort out an issue with a 3rd party heating engineer ( who had lied to me and pms) he reassured me about a reimbursement and was just helpful and professional. Real credit to the company. Exactly what is needed in phone support. Brilliant.

"Would be better experience if kept informed."

I reported blocked drain to insurance company pm 9/3/23 as an emergency. Preferred management responded very quickly, within 1 hour that they would deal with it. Got a call that an engineer would come between 3pm and 6pm on 10/3. At 5:30pm I received a text message to say that arrival time had been extended to 7pm. No engineer arrived that day. I phoned preferred management and was told that engineer car had broken down. Why was I not informed? Next morning 10/3 I made several phone calls and was finally promised that engineer would call at 12:30. He arrived at 13:30 and cleared the drain.

"Awful service"

Two service appointments made. One was cancelled. The other didn’t even bother cancelling, nor contacting me. Left waiting in all day. Will be taking my business elsewhere in future.
