"Quick and friendly"

Really quick and friendly processing of my claim. Overall it took only 24 hours from sending the claim to getting the money.

"Great website - terrible claim experience"

Great website, friendly people but don’t expect them to pay out on claims without a real fight.
I suffered a hernia before a planned trip to Kilimanjaro. First TT told me that the claim was ‘disinclination to travel’ (ie i was trying to get out if my trip). Next they did not accept the medical report of a foreign doctor. The final straw was when I resubmitted the claim completed by an English doctor they said that the claim was lacking detail even though everything had been fully completed on the form.They finally paid out 2 months after my original claim but only after I demanded escalation. Would not use again.

"True Traveller great, CEGA terrible"

True Traveller were great however CEGA we’re not. I made a claim and received an automated message that I would hear back within 5 working days. Fast forward over a month and still nothing. I followed up with TT and finally heard back the following day. Would not rate CEGAs efficiency at all; however, luckily TT are there to resolve the problems.

"I received excellent and speedy service…"

I received excellent and speedy service after having a bad (and expensive) crash whilst skiing. The team at True Traveller were fantastic and I will definitely be using them again this winter!

"Very inefficient process"

The good- I have always been paid for claims

The bad- this has taken an unnecessary amount of effort. My emails haven't always been replied to, I've been asked for documents which I had already sent, I've been told my claim has been approved but not paid until I followed up. It could be made so much easier.

"Second claim, fast and efficient reimbursement"

This was the second time I had to make a claim with True Traveller; this time was for doctor’s visits and medications for food poisoning in Vietnam while the first was for COVID quarantine in Thailand. In both instances, the representatives were excellent in responding to my emails and reimbursing the expenses really quickly. I am really pleased with True Traveller overall and would highly recommend using them as a travel insurance company.
Just as a personal bit of advice, I recommend paying the little bit of extra money to reduce your premium to zero so that you are fully reimbursed for eligible claims. If you travel enough, you will need insurance, and it will pay for itself quite quickly.

"Thank you for the quick and easy claim!"

Thank you for settling my claim so quickly! I had a medical situation whilst travelling and the team responded so quickly when I sent over my forms and I had it settled within two days, it really reduced the stress of the whole situation a lot! The forms were easy to fill out and very clear, and the response time was quick and the funds transfer was also very quick, thank you so much guys!

"True Traveller - An Insured's Reimbursement Claim Experience"

I am highly impressed by the True Traveller claim process for three reasons:

- Simplicity: the process is coherent - easy to follow and understand.

- Engagement: the personnel engagement from True Traveller was consistent for the duration of the process. The individual dealing with the claim was extremely courteous and responsive. The online chat facility which I used at the very start of the process to understand some of the basics was excellent.

- Efficient: My experience has been that True Traveller deliver on their commitment regarding turnaround times from claim submission to decision and payment. This is impressive.

"Great service"

Currently traveling SEA and so far, we are very happy with the service of TT. I had a medical emergency in Singapore and the reimbursement was sent the DAY AFTER the claim was submitted without any questions. They replied within an hour to my email. This was a great surprise as I was expecting it would take some time as with other provides I had experience before.
