You can tell whether your insurance is any good or not when you have to make a claim. I'm pleased to say that when I did make a claim, it was resolved and paid, in a friendly and efficient way, within 24 hours.

Can't praise this company enough, insurance companies tend to get bad reputations, but having recently come off a scooter in Thailand, the process to make a claim to having the claim approved took less than 24hrs, it was a simple and efficient process and they reply almost instantly.

We dealt with Ana who was a delight and was empathetic to our situation - the price and flexibility of their policies initially drew us to their company (travelling through different countries over a year - nightmare to find companies to cover that) but having had the "unfortunate" experience of having to go through a claim, TrueTraveller really made the experience a little easier to swallow.

My daughter broke her ankle skiing in France. We contacted true traveller and a customer agent made contact with my daughter and provided help and assurance. Claim process very clear and all information and documents provided. Confirmation email to say all received. Within 2 days we got a confirmation email that claim had been processed and payment would be heading our way.

"Canadian Ski Trip Curtailment Claim"

Due to a back injury I sustained while skiing in Canada I was forced to curtail my trip and return to the UK a month earlier than scheduled.

Upon my return I started the True Traveller online claim process. I had concerns about required supporting documents and how to answer certain questions so I rang the claim department.

Sandra was walked me through everything I needed to do and as she would be handling the claim every step of the way I felt reassured that I was in good hands.

Getting medical records from Canada proved a challenging and lengthy process that required a lot of back and forth. Sandra was always quick to reply to emails keeping me well informed of any developments and was easily contactable by phone if I needed to speak.

Once all the required documentation had been provided the settlement payment was delivered in a matter of days.

Sandra was incredibly supportive and made the process a lot less stressful than it could easily have become. I genuinely felt she was on my side.

True Traveller was very quick to settle invoices directly but the reimbursement part of my claim took longer than I would have liked due to a certain amount of red tape. That said I would certainly use their services again.
