My claim was approved. Every time I spoke to True Traveller, their staff were happy to help and let me know of the various things that I would need to do to submit my claim.

I did not always receive immediate responses to my emails and the prices wasn’t necessarily quick, but I think that is to be expected with these types of things.

Now that I have experienced Ttue Traveller first-hand, I would happily return to their services in the future.

I had to get some emergency dental treatment in Canada with my filling coming out. I had a big bill to cover, I filled out my claim form the same day and had response and claim approved same day… the money came in my bank account the following morning. Very reassuring and reliable company. I wouldn’t hesitate to pay more for the insurance policy as it goes a long way :)

I did not claim on the insurance. It seems all very efficient but when it came to authorisation to claim you have to call on phone. I had wifi and emailed True Traveller, getting a copy of ‘how to claim’ back. This said that I needed to call a uk number. I was in a zero cell coverage area up a mountain in Nepal and needing helicopter evacuation. I had to pay myself which kind of defeats the idea of having the insurance.
Totally unhelpful when I needed them.
