"Easy and straight forward claims"

Really easy and straight forward to book and pay for a policy. And also really easy to make a claim - paid back really quickly too! True Traveller also pre paid for a couple of appointments that I knew would be required in advance, which was amazing.

They then gave me back the money for my hotel and flight within a week. Will always use them and recommend them to everyone.When you’re in trouble they have your back.

Be careful with this company. Yes the True Traveller Team are friendly, helpful and articulate... but they only SELL you the product. The claims are actually processed by the CEGA group, which have terrible reviews. Check that you know who you may be dealing with!

We took out a two-week policy with True Traveller due to being able to get cover whilst already abroad, who were friendly and helpful (in selling us the product), if deliberately vague at times in their communication.

Look up the CEGA group too, before you buy your policy!

EDIT: Since I can't respond to TT's response: They say that "TT has nothing to do with the CEGA Group", but then that "We don't hide the fact that CEGA handle our claims". So which is it, then, do CEGA handle TT claims or not? This is a vague response.

TT didn't like my review, which is a shame as I was positive about the TT team. I'm merely highlighting for other customers that they may be dealing with a different company to the one they thought they'd be dealing with.

The main reason to buy insurance is to feel safe and hope that your insurer pays out when you have a claim, and not try to worm their way out... and this is why I love TrueTraveler, they are great at paying out (as long as you have receipts and proof obviously.) and I always feel confident with them. I've had numerous claims - medical, lost/stolen items, broken items and everything has been professionally resolved! Customer support is great, fast accurate responses. 100% recommend.

I recently became injured while skiing in Canada.
