I have been stuck overseas since COVID struck so my prior travel insurance expired. I used Safety Wing for a month or two but wasn't happy with their offering. Looking around for a service that would cover me while already travelling I came across True Traveller and decided to take a policy. Within two weeks I had some really strange health symptoms arise that were quite scary. I filed a claim and just received a payout within days. So grateful. Amazing service.

I have had an urgent appendectomy surgery. Paid for everything myself and made a claim. In a couple of weeks, I got the money back. So far TT is the best insurance I've had over the years. It is good to know that professionals have your back when life brings you lemons. Renewed my travel insurance for another year.

I booked a policy with True Traveller for travel to South America in April 2020. Unfortunately Covid happened. I postponed the policy twice with minimum fuss, and when it couldn't be postponed any further they refunded my purchase with relatively little quibble.

When Covid goes away I will book with them again and unreservedly recommend others do so too.

Making the medical claim was very simple and quick. I think it couldn't be easier. All claims were quickly processed. Most highly recommended.
