"Faultless delivery"
Appliance Direct promised delivery 2 days earlier than was in fact possible and were not good at keeping me informed. It turned out they were waiting for delivery from Miele of the washing machine.
When it was delivered I was impressed by the friendly, considerate and efficient delivery men. They took good care carrying my heavy new Miele appliance down the tight spiral stone stairs to my basement, not to damage it at all. They removed my old machine as requested and waited while I cleaned the inaccessible part of the floor underneath.
They made sure the machine was working fully before they left. The whole thing took 20 minutes.
Although sorry it was not worth replacing the motor of my 12 year old Miele, I am v pleased with the additional functions. Appliance Centre matched Curry’s price, which was the lowest available, a saving of £150

"Absolutely disgraceful"
Absolutely disgraceful. They changed our washing machine but didn’t bother to take out the stuff in the basin. There is water from sewage everywhere. We have had to throw out the rice that was in the cupboard along with some light bulbs that don’t work anymore. Amateur work,I really don’t understand how you can be this unprofessional and disgusting.

We paid for our clients appliance to be fixed. We paid for the repair and the parts. The problem was unresolved. It took 5 months to get the refund for the parts, which we only got after making several calls per week, suffering their rude and aggressive manner on the phone, and after finally having to get a solicitor to send a letter. Wont ever use again.

Good service from the supplier, but the machine was damaged. The company has refunded £50 which meant I didn’t have to wait for another machine and delivery date so I was happy. But the delivery man cracked the glass of a painting as he transported the new machine through my flat and didn’t tell me. I would have been fine if he had.

Avoid, appalling experience, rude and unhelpful, Dan got angry over 3 phone calls asking to send the invoice after we had paid, he had no time or patience so he put the phone down and cancelled the order, to even just spell out the email address which has a unique spelling. So he cancelled the order and we eventually got money back 10 days later after a few calls again. The website also isn’t easy and he s the only one there so needed to update it first before we could pay online.

"Communcations are awful"
I have no criticism of any of the workers at Appliancentre, they are no doubt overworked and underpaid like the rest of us.
I recently bough a washing machine online and chose a Saturday delivery between 12 & 3. I heard nothing from this company so I phoned on Saturday morning, I was told the delivery wouldn't take place until Monday.
Another delay occurred and another delivery date. I finally got the machine installed a week after ordering.
The staff in general are hard working but communications with the customers is abysmal. I can understand that all businesses are going through hard times at the moment but communication is of paramount importance. I've had 2 and a half completely wasted days waiting for delivery because I've not been told what's happening.
You have to work harder Apliancentre!!

Washing machine repair. Polite, turned up on time, tidied up after himself. Unfortunately couldn't fix the machine.
