"Shaking with anger at the way I was treated"
I have just returned home from what can only be described as a fractious encounter with the manager of the Cheltenham branch. I bought a "top of the range” coat and on getting it home found a couple of buttons were loose. If my review was of my first return visit then it would be 5* as even though I was only asking for the buttons to be fixed, the sales assistant offered to replace the item. However getting the replacement home I found that on both sleeves the lining was so loose that it stuck out from underneath the cuffs whilst wearing.
I took it back today and the manageress made a number of claims. 1: That as they had already exchanged the product I was no longer entitled to a warranty. 2: That as I had left the shop with a faulty product I was no longer entitled to a warranty. 3: As I had worn the product (once) I was no longer entitled to a warranty. 4: That the product wasn't defective even though she'd "sold hundreds of these items and never seen this happened before". 5: That shop staff suggesting "a family member who was good with a needle could stitch it up" wasn't an admission of the item being faulty. And overall the way she spoke to me was insulting and hugely patronising.

I have purchased decal product from Dubarry over the years and the quality and service is exceptional. I recently noticed a mark on an item and after sending an email with an image they immediately sent a replacement. There was not questioning. Great customer service from Penny and the team.

"Draag sinds 2009 Dubarry laarzen"
Draag sinds 2009 Dubarry laarzen, zwart en bruin. Beide zijn ruim 9 jaar meegegaan. Een maal de zool laten vervangen. Laarzen moeten wel gedragen en verzorgd worden anders drogen ze uit. Maar je kunt er heel lang mee doen. Inmiddels aan mn derde paar Roundstone, deze keer. Onlangs jas gekocht waarbij de rits ging haperen. Probleem gemeld en super netjes afgewikkeld. Dubarry heeft met twee weken een vervanging gestuurd.

I purchased a jacket in early Jan from the new Sloane Square location, I found Flory and her team so incredibly accommodating, I had a small issue with my jacket and Flory saw to the concern immediately and a replacement jacket was with me within a week, I received frequent updates from Dubarry reassuring me that the issue was being seen to.

"Zero integrity- poor customer relations "
Recently bought a pair of mens boots (in a sale) and after 3 days the sole came apart , contacted dubarry directly (fully aware I didn't have the contract with them as purchasd from a show shop) to eliminate one party as I thought it would be easier to deal with directly, explain the fault, express my surprise as we've been using dubarry shoes for years, well this is the complete opposite of what happened, not interested in what I had to say , not interested in their long term customer care , at one point actually said to me ....I found the man very rude , dismissive and with a complete lack of customer care ....I was just an annoying person he had to deal with that day . It didn't stop there , I went to return said faulty boots (after 3 days wear ) and the lady in the shoe shop ....said yes I know he'd contacted them to tell them ( what I don't know !) Left it with show shop to be sent back to dubarry , who didn't replace. Shocking level of integrity regarding their said quality brand , well they didn't stand by their faults in the end . I've seen dubarry in a new light. The team needs training regarding customer relations, there's lots of other quality brands similar, don't take your customers for granted dubarry . Very disappointing experience which has left a sour taste

The Offaly Ankle Boot are also a quality boot, incredibly comfortable and look great.

"Poor quality at premium price"
Had my Dubarry Galway boots about four years and they’ve only been worn on several occasions, due to illness. Have worn them twice recently and they have perished under the sole. Which has become detached from the actual boot.
My cobbler shook his head, tutted and said ‘not another pair’ ? He showed me a box with 4 pairs of identical boots in the same state!!! Apparently one lady was offered a 10% discount on another pair!
Why would you buy any more?? I’m not surprised the Dubarry specialist repairers are flat out busy! Such a terrible indictment for what is claimed to be a ‘quality’ product at £350. Hardly a glowing recommendation is it Dubarry?

"Just to make people aware don't care…"
Just to make people aware don't care for your boots. Wear them all the time and god forbid you have a problem anything over year old they say out of warranty, excuse after excuse. You send them photos with the sole hanging off I was told as i kept in in a box and only worm them in the winter, they were not used enough. Can't win not matter. The last time I buy from Dubarry.com
