"Worst service I have ever experienced"
Worst service I have ever experienced. The first guy who was sent to me to fix my washing machine didn’t even arrive (after I stayed home from work all day to receive him) because he claimed that parking was too difficult even though I organised him a space behind my building with a permit. The second guy that came finally a week later was extremely rude, marked all my walls with his big backpack. When I asked him politely to be careful he was just gave an an evil stare. He ‘fixed’ my machine, refused to communicate anything to me about the problem or hardly talk to me. Then after he left that evening I tried to use the machine and it wasn’t working. It was left exactly the same as before!

Terrible experience, an engineer visited four times with the wrong part. Very poor communication as never called me back and no explanation was ever given about how it kept happening

"I booked an appointment for an oven…"
I booked an appointment for an oven repair which was a no show and they did not call me to let me know the person wouldnt come, I had to chase them - and this happened twice (ie they were no shows twice). It was rebooked for the next week. Then the person they sent wasn’t a gas-safe engineer so couldn’t do anything anyway. They did however tell me they needed to order a new part to be fitted and he took payment for the call-out right away. Couple days later I got a call from the company to ask for payment for the spare part. An appointment was booked for a week or so after. Again - no one arrived and no call or message to explain anything. So they had took full payment and just didn’t bother with me. Yet another appointment had to be made from me by chasing and at this point I sent a complaint email which to this day has been ignored by the company. When they finally sent a gas safe engineer this week they told me the first guy clearly didn’t know what he was doing because the oven didn’t need that new part after all. Literally took him 5mins to fix the issue. The last engineer was great but the company and its processes are awful, borderline dodgy. I managed to get a refund for the unused part but honestly only use this company if you are bored and enjoy spending your time chasing appointments that will never arrive. My oven was out of use for a month because of how long they took. Capital Repairs - get your act together and respond to customer complaints! Also don’t take peoples money for jobs you can’t fulfill.

Further to my previous review, the job was started in June, the wrong part was ordered by their engineer and I’ve been charged for this visit/labour. After my last review the company finally got back in touch despite numerous requests for a call back but was ignored, until October. They’ve offered in principal to refund for the parts they ordered in error and have charged me (still awaiting this refund) and insist on charging me for the labour and call-out. It’s their error for ordering the wrong part yet insist I read their small print which says I am liable to pay for this mistake on the or part. It’s started in June and now nearly November and I have not received a refund or a call back. I have asked for a refund on the parts for now and will follow up to retrieve the labour charge (they haven’t fitted a correct part so labour for what?). Mr John Fisher the manager has never taken my call or called me back instead sent me 2 emails to offer a refund for the parts only which he still hasn’t done. Totally unprofessional conduct and lack of communication or customer service. Nearly. I’ve bee and still waiting to hear back from someone……
