I don't know why anyone would travel any other way. It's all the joy of travelling with all the difficult parts removed. Loved our experience without reservation. There was someone to meet us at every point and take us to the airport (13 flights). Our accomodation was always in the right place and good. The guides were first rate. You just couldn't organise all that yourself as effectively. If there is a problem (like a cancelled flight), they're right there to support you when needed. Seriously BEST travel experience. We'll go back to Eclipse for sure. Thank you.

"Overall good service from Tiffany"
Overall good service from Tiffany. Patient and helpful to arrange itinerary and book flights and to help with extra accommodation whilst away. Some hiccups:
1. Qantas FF points numbers provided ahead of trip but not processed during the booking. We did not realise, and so my two daughters have lost the points for Sydney LA leg
2. Itinerary changed with an extra excursion we had not agreed to, which we were informed we would be charged for, even though we had not agreed to it (Farm trip at Arenal). We enquired as to the cost of this as we do not feel we should be paying for something that was not in the agreed itinerary. It was a conscious effort not to load too many trips as the ravel to each place was quite strenuous for my kids
3. Alaska Airlines flight cancelled, so we missed one night in San Jose. I have asked for the costs for that night accommodation so I can claim on insurance. Still waiting for that info.
Seems the process to finalise the trip and receive payment was great, but post that, very poor response.
W still need answers to the last two points above.

"Heart of the Arctic Tour"
Did the Heart of the Arctic Tour with Adventure Canada which we booked through Eclipse Travel. Eclipse Travel were very good to deal with, absolutely no complaints.
The cruise was above and beyond expectations. Adventure Canada and the crew of the Ocean Endeavour couldn't do enough for the passengers. Everyone went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing experience. We saw Polar bears, walrus, caribou, seals and whales. We got off the ship nearly every day doing hikes and visiting 3 Inuit communities. There were lectures every day from the raft of specialists onboard. An absolutely wonderful 13 day holiday.

Apart from a few changes in who I was dealing with, overall an excellent service. Some of our paperwork arrived after we had left Australia. All worked out when we arrived at our destination. G-adventures was also an excellent company for our Arctic trip. We had not heard of them prior o calling Eclipse Travel.

"SWonderful Holiday"
Shae from Eclipse Travel arranged our trip to South America in July this year. The whole trip was amazing. We had some problems with protests in Peru (which were no fault of the travel agents) but the agents were fantastic, sorting transfers and changing tours. There was always someone to see us through the problems.We can not praise Eclipse travel enough and will certainly use them again. We had a great holiday and will always remember it.

"Shea at Eclipse Travel really looked …"
Shea at Eclipse Travel really looked after us on a recent cruise we booked for eastern Canada. Unfortunately the first part of our cruise was cancelled at the last minute, because of engine trouble. This presented us with a big problem as we were already over there. Flights needed to be changed and an alternative plan made on how to spend the 10 days that had been cancelled. Shae negotiated a great deal for us with the cruise company for compensation and kept us fully informed on our options. We were extremely grateful to have someone so willing to go in to bat for us in our time of need. We would highly recommend Eclipse Travel as a company that goes that extra mile to ensure your holiday is a good one.

Lodges were excellent
Other 3 star hotels fine - we only needed a bed. Only minor point of feedback - breakfast was always described in the itinerary as delicious - in the 3 * hotel it was adequate....as I said we were only there for the bed so not a major ...I would just describe as breakfast included
Payment seemed a bit tricky as a NZ resident - took a while before NZ could accept credit card payments - had we been based in Australia this would not have been an issue .....but we got there in the end
We were listed on the tour operators schedule as Australian....we are most definitely New Zealanders ;-).....managed to get bck on the right footing when we mentioned the All Blacks !
