Went to the coop (church lane Bedford) bakery today and got 2 croissants for me& my daughter at the counter the shop assistant that was at the tills (older lady only worker present) was coughing into her hands (didn’t wash them) she opened the see through bakery bag while still coughing to take a look inside as I explained this is not good food hygiene and you can see through the bag she then got angry and decided I couldn’t buy redbull as I don’t “ look 25 & had no id” which is fine but it’s never been asked for id here before, I ask her to carry on with the transactions as there was a good 10 people in line, I then asked about a provisional form as it’s a post office aswell& she said we don’t do that and continued giving me a lecture about the red bull, maybe she needs training on her people skills& hygiene, worst shop service I’ve ever received!!

Ref: 3143661 - Co-op delivered a faulty product. They don't want to engage with me about it -- they're trying to blame Deliveroo. Just had a curt, no-reply email from them basically telling me to pi*s off. Very poor. Won't be using Co-op again for delivery.

Forgot to use my membership vouchers by the end of December. Got in touch with them a couple of days later to just be told they can't do anything. Disgusting customer service!!!

I ordered a delivery, they took money from my account, and did not deliver. I phoned the shop. Which is in denton. Three times and did not answer, I left message on the three occasions, still no reply. Disgusting!!

My recent experience is contacting the via facebook page about about Removal of Memvership Rewards.

Removal of their membership rewards means that cost of buying food there effectively increases. Membership Price my be a good deal for some, but for me as an autistic person living in a small flat with limited storage for food it is not. Many of these are ready meals which I don’t buy for 2 reasons. They are an expensive way to eat and they often contain lots of additives. I also don’t buy meat at supermarkets because of my concerns about how is produced. An example would be Frankenchickens. Many of the other member’s prices are multi packs. These are obviously useful for big families, but for me as I single person with limited room to store food they are not. Staff at the co-op I use are always helpful. I have no criticism of staff and management of local branches. There is how lots of room for improvement in how this company is run and their customer service via Facebook

Ready rolled Pizza dough (Co op own brand) is not fit for purpose. Do not buy this product.
One pack did not come off the paper backing as it was so stringy and too wet. Other two packs did not cook just look like raw soggy-bottomed shoe leather. Such a waste of money as I had to bin it.

What are you doing with your sourdough bread?? It is darker in colour, texture is awful heavy. I have been eating your soudough for years. Whatever you have changed it is awful. Tried a few time over the months not buying it anymore.
