"The coop in Kensal Green Harrow road…"
The coop in Kensal Green Harrow road has seriously gone downhill because their customer service is TERRIBLE. We tried to look for the butter but couldn’t find it ,so we asked an employee that worked there but said they were “ to busy “ to help a customer and the man that we asked was just pointing us the wrong direction instead of politely showing us the right way.

"Web site is rubbish"
Web site is rubbish. When you put things like toothpaste it says 0 items, moisturiser it comes up with radox bath liquid, toothbrush 0 items. Complete waste of time

"They're doing the same as Tesco now"
They're doing the same as Tesco now - increasing the prices on things as a punishment for not having their loyalty card. The prices can only get reduced to normal Co-op levels (which are not cheap anyway) if a person has their loyalty card - which they have the nerve to charge for!
Disappointed
"My first visit to Kirkby Stephen Co-op…"
My first visit to Kirkby Stephen Co-op today. I used the self-service checkout as I was in a hurry. I had a bottle of wine, so the light flashed red to signal that I needed assistance. After a while, two colleagues came to the checkout next to me, helped their colleague, and began to go back up the aisle. I leapt into the aisle and gesticulated to the red light, saying I needed help. Without saying a single word, and without any eye contact whatsoever, the assistant did what was necessary and went back up the aisle to rejoin her colleague. I said "thank you!" to her back as she went away. A few minutes later I'd finished and paid, and asked the machine for a receipt. Once again the red light flashed and the screen told me an assistant would be with me shortly. I waited and waited, but no-one came. So I went up the aisle to where the two women were filling a chiller cabinet and said that my red light was flashing. As we walked back, I couldn't help saying to the second assistant that self checkouts were supposed to be quicker, but that no-one ever came to help. She replied that they normally were, but that they had jobs they needed to do. I didn't have a response for that. The assistant did what was necessary without looking at me or speaking to me, and then the two of them (assistant no. 1 had joined her) went up the aisle and back to what they were doing. Again, I said "thank you!" to their retreating backs, and again, I got no response.
How can this be right? Firstly, being too busy to provide customer service, and secondly, neither speaking to nor even looking at the customer. If people aren't happy in a customer facing role then they shouldn't BE in a customer facing role.

"RUDE, miserable staff"
Evesham Road, Crabbs Cross is my local Co-op store and I visit it fairly regularly. I have since decided to abandon doing so, as the staff are the rudest shop staff I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. I want to make clear that this applies to the women working in the shop and two women in particular, as occasionally there is a very nice man in there, but the women are vile, rude, surly and generally unhelpful. They speak to the customers like they are an irritation and they clearly do not want to be there. I appreciate that it may not be the most inspiring place to work but if they hate it that much get a better job! If they speak to my husband as rudely as they did today ever again, I will tell them to their miserable faces what I think of them!

"Everytime they can’t find half of the…"
Everytime they can’t find half of the order. You still have to pay the delivery though. I ordered 4 of one item, got 1 of them but charged for 4. I tried to get it refunded with Uber who this time didn’t believe me because of this stupid shop is always messing it up

"Poor service"
I go to the co-op in Thornton bd13 regularly. It's alright most of the time, but I'm sometimes left standing waiting to served when the staff are either talking or stacking shelves. They know people are waiting but just carry on.
I've paid with notes before that have had a slight tear in them and one of them refused to accept them, saying they're not legal tender, so I've had to go back home and get my card. I've gone in the next day with the same notes and they've been accepted without any problems.
He's a guy with a bald head. I think he needs to understand more clearly his reason for being there because he's very rude.
