I called Co-op bank Customer Service this morning, December 14th, and spoke with Annila. She was patient, thorough, consulted a colleague, and resolved the problem I had in using my visa card with an online company. Excellent service for an 83 year old struggling with technology. My food order didn’t turn up at all. It’s over a week and I haven’t received a refund. No apology. No gift voucher for inconvenience. And NO refund. Co-op you have stolen my money!

Succumbed to the convenience again and ordered delivery. Well they didnt disappoint, delivered late and to the wrong house. Spectacularly poor service but that seems to be their modus operandi!

"Coop delivery"
Coop delivery failed to deliver a complete order and then only issues a partial refund for the items missing- a 75p per item surcharge on no product at all. I will be using Tesco whoosh from here on out. Quicker, cheaper and more accurate. Pull you finger out co-op, you are supposed to be an ethical company but you're actually just theives.

I wanted to see what ranges my local store had online. I had loaded the app. It did not work, and moreover it blocked me on "security" grounds that my "IP address is not in the UK". It is. I tried on two different phones and a computer on Vodafone, BT and EE but all were rejected. Customer support suggested resent password. I did, but no joy. The Co-op is a brand but they do not say it is actually many different co-operatives that do not share the same IT. They have arrangements with Uber Eats Deliveroo and others, but if they do not deliver to your street then nothing doing. I could not access a list of current ranges and prices. I could not access a click and collect. A mess. They had an advertising tag line in recent years "good with food". Maybe, but pretty blooming useless at everything else retail, these days.
I see from Trustpilot others have had exactly the same experience. The Coop board need to get a grip on these matters.

"Brilliant Broadband"
Co-op Broadband is brilliant. Excellent service. No problems. 10/10. Don't be tempted by deals offered by other companies, your broadband will be rubbish and you will be locked into a contract with unexpected price hikes. Go for the Co-op and you won't be disappointed. One of the best things about Co-op Broadband is that their call centre is in the Cotswolds... "Hello my lovely, thank you for calling The Phone Co-op, how may I help you today"

"Profiteering with over inflated prices!!"
The local stores here in Uddingston Lanarkshire have added extra hiked prices on to everything. I believe this is the same with most if not all of this company’s stores & it needs addressed. They are simply profiteering & it’s unfair to customers. Particularly those who rely on these stores.
For instance, crisps & sweets that cost £1.50 elsewhere are priced at anything up to three pounds! Soft drinks have an extra pound or several added on to the price of a bottle or pack. Everyday groceries are extortionate & way beyond that of other stores. And I have to add that even though Scotland already has minimum pricing on alcohol, the local stores add an extra couple of pounds at least on to every licenced product.
During this cost of living crisis many prices have indeed risen but to then add on EXTRA cost for no reason is a disgrace Co-op.
I shop elsewhere now & have saved significantly!
