I have been contacting customer support but there is no specialist available all the time. I can’t even upload my meter reading photo/file as the upload function does not work. I was told few weeks ago that this has been sorted, but it has not been. And they will charge you double if you don’t upload your meter reading. It has been very stressful dealing with this company. I might as well pay my bills myself, less hassle and stress. But if you do cancel your membership, you will be charged a cancellation fee of £15/month. I regret signing up with Homebox. I can’t wait to finish my contract with them, and be stress free again.

This is a huge redflag for any new customer who would date to get onboard with Homebox, please think about this TWICE or more than twice... DO NOT SIGN UP for this scam of company. I signed up thinking as "What a wonderful idea to have someone to consolidate my bills and I don't have to worry about it". Well turns out that now I have a mark on my credit score because they never told me that they open an account with British Gas, never pay them, always said to me that my utilities were with Rebel Energy and 6 month later, I have to pay a final bill that supposes to be paid by them. Try to speak to them via chat service is nightmare. Never answer the phone. It's never their fault. And if you wish to cancel your service, have to pay an early exit fee that was never mentioned as I never paid anything to sign to this company as it was part of a "perk" of the letting agency. Easy way in life is to keep your utility bills yourself and don't let anyone to take control of them.
