Omega Flight Store

"Worst customer service ever!"
I was unable to take my flight to South Korea, so I asked to have a refund for the taxes, as that was only what I was told was available for me. I sent off the online forms and was told that it could take up to 6 weeks. After nearly 8 weeks and many hours phoning up the company, to have the phone put down on me. When I pretended to have an account with them, I finally spoke to somebody but they were extremely rude and put the gone down on me. I called back and they continued to be dismissive and extremely unhelpful. I’m now into the 8th week and have said that I would escalate this further but I’d definitely say that you should stay away from this company. They are fine for deals but if there are any problems or refunds involved, you could be waiting a while.....

"I agree with all the reviews which say ths is a rubbish travel agency…none of the contact numbers work at all!"
I agree with all the reviews which say this travel agents is rubbish! I have tried to contact them for a week now and they are still to reply!
I just phoned the London number shown on the website and finally someone answered - he said his name was Simon and was either drunk, tired or not bothered! He slurred his words and was apathetic!!!
He also said that the number was the Chinese office and gave me another number for the London office - 0870 7703888 which is another dud number!
I have tried all the other numbers shown on the website but they just ring for a while and then disconnect.
What an absolute shambles - should be removed from being a travel agent!

"Impossible to Contact, even through Snail Mail...."
I have used Omega Travel regularly in the past and have not had any problems before so have never had to contact them. However, this is the first time I’ve needed to contact Customer Services and it’s been a rubbish experience.
I have been trying to get through to Omega Travel since 29 August re flights booked in July as I wanted to change the date of the outbound flight (24 September). After no response from their online form or numerous phone calls at various times of the day to all their branches (I kept being put on hold and the line cut off after 10-15 minutes), I contacted the airline (Cathay Pacific) directly on 6 September, after having read an article about them having their ATOL licence suspended. They said Omega Travel were still operating so I had to keep trying them.
I was so desperate to try everything possible, apart from sending an e-mail to all the branch e-mail addresses and their customer support e-mail address on their website, I even put a copy of my e-mails in the post to their Head Office in Milton Keynes on 19 September marked ‘Urgent’ as the flight date was nearing.
On 21 September (2 days before the scheduled flight) I rang Cathay Pacific back and they were able to help cancel the outbound flight. They kept the return flight open to keep the booking alive in their system, in the hope that my uncle would be well enough to travel by 30 October (as the ticket has 3 months of validity, the outbound journey has to start by 30 October). However, I had to let them know by today if this was feasible. Unfortunately, we have no choice but to cancel the booking entirely. They advised me that any cancellations and refunds have to be processed directly with the ticketing agency.
This morning I tried calling the Head Office number at 10.00 am (01908 259988). I was so happy when someone answered the phone, but unfortunately the lady only spoke Mandarin Chinese, no English! I can understand some Mandarin Chinese - and she could understand very little Cantonese Chinese. She eventually understood I was ringing about flights that had already been booked but she was saying she couldn't help as she didn't know what the situation was with the flights department. She was telling me to contact the airline. I told her that the airline said I needed to cancel with them.
I needed to speak to someone who spoke English really, because I couldn't get her to understand that I wanted to cancel and make sure we didn't incur cancellation charges/further charges. I had read on their Terms and Conditions that there was a form we had to fill in.
She understood that I wanted to speak to someone who spoke English and told me to stay on the line as she transferred me but I was cut off after hearing an automated message that said the number was no longer valid. I then tried her number again twice but she didn't pick up. So I then tried the London branch number and very surprisingly, the same woman picked up! She said she will try and put me through to another team. Again, this other number she had put me through to, an automated message said, this number is not in service!
I’m not sure there is anything more I can do really….

"Have tried to cancel my booking, but no luck!"
Have tried to cancel my booking with them for the past 3 weeks. Have tried to contact them by email and by phone. Email isn't being responded to and the phone number doesn't even exist!
Don't use this company!

"Is there some sort of Ombudsman you can…"
Is there some sort of Ombudsman you can contact to complain about Omega? My daughter booked flights to New York through Omega flying from Glasgow-Amsterdam-JFK. The JFK to Amsterdam leg was cancelled and I was told by Omega that we would receive a full refund. On top of that I booked upgraded seats directly with KLM. This was booked in July 2017 and our trip was in April 2018. Here we are in October 2018 and I cannot for the life of me get anyone at Omega to answer the phone. I tried today for my whole lunch hour, to no avail!!! The phone rings for 17 mins each time and then cuts off, I tried 3 times today. I have also been emailing them on a weekly basis for the last few months, again no reply. If this was my money I was losing I wouldn't mind so much but this was my daughter's present to me for my 60th birthday and it's just not on.

"Wish I could put 0"
Wish I could put 0. Omega contacted me to say that Emirates have cancelled my flights and to contact them urgently - this is a complete joke as I have been spending hours each day phoning only to be waiting for 30 to 40 minutes then the phone is answered - you can hear voices and then cut off. I have emailed daily for several weeks sometimes several times and shock horror - nothing!!
Completely AVOID at all costs - the prices do not warrant the stress. I have now contacted ATOL and my insurance company, who also had the same experience. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

"Awful"
I have been trying for over 3 weeks to contact omega flight store, as I need to change my flight. I have rang every number that is associated with the company, multiple times over the past 3 weeks. There has never been anyone answer. I have had no response via email either. I’m a young girl travelling to Australia. I’m going to have to lose out on over £500 because of this and I’m extremely upset and disappointed. I will never book with omega flight stores again.

"impossible to reach"
