From order to deliver was very quick. However the item arrived damaged. The door hinges were broken leaving the door unable to be closed and actually switch on the machine and check if its working. This is an issue as any problem has to be reported in 48 hours. You can't phone the company only email them. I took pictures and reported it straight away. They agreed to send new hinges. Let the fridge settle for 24 hrs before switching on and testing it out. Luckily it works. Good enough for second fridge. The door storage could be better designed. Salad draw is not very deep. Fridge compressor makes strange pop after it runs each time. Seems energy efficient as the smart meter is not showing a great increase in daily running costs.

"BEWARE OF BUYING FROM SUBCOLD"

I bought their Subcold Viva28 LED - Under-Counter Wine Fridge in March of this year. In June I noticed that there was a large build up of ice in the cabinet so I went to them and queried this. They said to thoroughly defrost it which I did (48 hours). When I turned it back on it was icing up again within two days. They told me to put the thermostat up - which I did. They continue to insist it is not faulty despite the fact that I have a neighbour with an identical unit which she has used for much longer with no issues. I have ensured that it is properly ventilated and all the other requirements but they steadfastly refuse to take responsibility.
