"If there were zero stars I would have…"
If there were zero stars I would have used that. They don't even deserve one star. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with.

"The equipment hasn't worked properly…"
The equipment hasn't worked properly from the start, customer service is nil and wouldn't recommend to guard a dog house

"Your web look is similarly as genuine…"
Your web look is similarly as genuine because of astounding illustrations. Also, it's not any less expensive for your administrations, but rather I'll value your quick response to time.

"Predatory hiring at best"
I come to you not as a customer, but as someone who was chosen as someone for this sick and twisted company to try and recruit. Where do I even start? Someone who I was "friends" with in high school messaged me when I was down and having issues financially. He approached me as a friend offering me the opportunity to work for the company he worked for to make some good money, do some relatively simple work, and have an opportunity to experience travelling while selling. Seemed like a good deal. He approached me saying he was a hiring manager who received hundreds of resumes a month but he wanted ME for my skill set. As he went into greater detail I became more and more wary of his pitch. One thing that was mentioned a lot was "the back end". Fluent is a company that pays exclusively on a commission basis, which contributes to their predatory sales tactics, and one thing he mentioned was that you are an independent contractor making commission, however, the company withholds a significant portion of your commission until you complete a work term. So as an employee, you sign on to work for 4-5 months at a time, move across the country, have to pay to stay in motels with up to 4 other men and women in a room with 2 beds, and the company keeps most of your commission until the end of your work term. He called that withheld money, the back end. And that was the core of his pitch. "Every time you make a sale you make 10% commission or something like that, but you get a flat commission of $400 in the back end". Claiming he made $60k as a 20 year old at the time, that sounded pretty crazy. Until he mentioned that if you leave the company before your term is finished, that back end, goes away. The company keeps it. You never see the money, as far as they're concerned you never even made it. There is no documentation to even prove its accumulating as you work for them. In the moments I was considering doing it as a desperate student, I asked my girlfriend who has much more clairvoyance than I do to come speak to my friend with me. She asked him hard hitting questions about payment, travel, accomodations, and proof that I wasn't moving across the country to not actually make significant money. He refused to provide proof of salary, and when my girlfriend got up to go to the washroom, he tried to tell me that she didn't want what was best for me because she was jealous of the opportunity and he said "She's being kind of a b****. I was insulted and enraged. It was then that I knew for certain that this was a scam. He also went on to tell me that people we knew from high school who were total drop outs and dead beats were getting hired on. He thought it was an incentive to get me to join because they were people I knew, when in reality it made his company look worse because he previously told me he was constantly getting applications from more qualified people. It was clear he was receiving an enormous bonus of some kind, that he claimed he was not receiving, for recruiting as many weak minded people as possible.
Fast forward some months later. I never did join the company. I heard from someone that worked with him that they had a member of their team who's sales weren't up to par with the expectations that were set in place. My source told me that they approached the young girl who wasn't making many sales and said that if she wanted to remain on the team, she would have to perform "in other ways" to "remain an asset".
I am disgusted in more ways than I can express with Fluents treatment of their potential recruits, existing team members, and their clients all over NA. If you ever have one of them come to your door, tell them they're either a pawn or a predator, if you're reading this because you're not sure if they're legit, I will only say this; they're legitimately dangerous. To your well being, to your mental health, and to your financial stability as both a customer and employee.

"Hard sell"
My wife moved here before I did. One thing we wanted was an alarm system. Fluent agent came to the door. After his assurance that the system was designed by Vivint, which we have experience with she signed a 39 month contract. After the 39 months I faxed a cancellation to them. They refused to honor it because my wife didn’t sign the cancellation. I never signed the contract because I didn’t move here until later. Further they extended the contract another 36 months because we didn’t cancel before the end of the contract. They refused to cancel unless we bought out the entire 36 months. NEVER DEAL WITH FLUENT. The best service is SimpliSafe.

"DO NOT USE FLUENT"
I subscribed to fluent for security for my business for over a year. Since installation the cameras did not work properly nor did they record on the allocated server. Since then i have tried to cancel for poor service prior to the cancellation period and is left on hold or told to bad, the contract is a contract.
Well, now I have had significant theft from the camera coverage zones twice with no way of viewing the thieves or leading to arrest or recovery. The service at fluent is horrible and i would not recommend anyone using this service. I just called again to day and was on hold for a very long time. I run two significant businesses and i never make reviews like this. If I ran my business this way I would be out of business.
I am forced to continue the subscription for the remainder of the 3 year term with no real security and will be forced to purchase another system in conjunction with the Fluent System to ensure the safety of my assets. I cannot stress enough. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY for commercial use. I would even question residential given the service culture here.

"Nightmare - avoid Fluent at all cost. Not worth it"
Avoid them at all cost. We started with Alarmtek then we were transferred to Fleunt. It has been a nightmare with this company. Our system stopped working without us knowing. So when we set up the alarm, the alarm did not go off when someone came into the house. We found out 3 months later, called Fluent and we were told we needed to pay.
I just checked my account and found out that they increased the monthly bill without informing us. They claimed that they sent us an email but we did not receive it. Fluent increased our monthly bills during the lockdown, so selfish and cruel.
They also keep changing our contract timeline. They just added another 3 months again. This company is just a rip off. I regret my relationship with Fluent and can't wait to be out of this mess.

"Got suckered into a 7 year contract…"
Got suckered into a 7 year contract that I was not made aware of at all (only found out I even had a contract when I was moving homes). When I moved they told me they were going to send a tech out to uninstall free of charge for the move. Never showed, when I called to find out where he was, they said they couldn't get a hold of him and would call me back... Never called me back. When I drove 3 hours to uninstall myself, they now want to charge me $200 for the install on the new house. Now I'm trying to find out how much it is to end my contract but no one can seem to tell me, they just keep tranfering me around telling me, "it's gonna cost a lot".
Don't make my mistake and get locked into this joke of a company.

"You're truly working admirably in light…"
You're truly working admirably in light of the fact that I didn't see a certified help that had a moment reaction until now, so you won my heart. Because of you, I'll utilize your administration once more.
