"I stayed at XO Hotel in Amsterdam"

I stayed at XO Hotel in Amsterdam. Hotel was great. You have to do self checking on arrival at Hotel. This was my first experience but it was very simple and easy. Room was very clean and comfortable. My only disappointment was €18 plus for breakfast not value for money. It should be included breakfast.

Buitengewoon vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, zowel bij de dag- als nacht receptie.
De kamer is ruim, alle apparatuur en verlichting werkt, dat zie je wel eens anders in een hotel 😉
Het ontbijt: zeer uitgebreid, alles is vers.
Opmerking: de jam moet vanuit een. Container in een klein cupje gedaan worden; na 3 pogingen en een hoop geklieder eindelijk door dat het cupje precies op het embleem van een schoteltje moet staan 😏
Advies: een bordje dat hierop wijst zou het probleem oplossen ...

Hotel molto curato, accoglienza e disponibilità del personale hanno fatto del nostro soggiorno una vera esperienza ad Amsterdam!
Stanze pulitissime e spaziose, bagno grande e profumato, macchina da caffè Nespresso in camera!
Hotel collegato benissimo per il centro, la fermata tram è d'avanti e la metro 50e51 a meno di 500mt!
Ceckin automatico al sel service. Disponibilità di bici a noleggio.

My girlfriend and I were in Amsterdam a few weeks ago and we stayed at this hotel. The truth is that everything was great and the service from the reception was great. I remember that she was a very friendly Spanish girl. The rooms were quite comfortable, clean, the bathroom was great, good heating and one of the best things is that it is quite well connected to the city centre by public transport. The place is highly recommended and we would definitely stay there again without a doubt.

Despite appearing to be a fair distance from the centre of Amsterdam, it was so easy and quick to get to the centre via tram as the stop is just outside the hotel and the trams come very regularly. The room itself was large and had all the amenities we needed and more. It was really really clean and definitely exceeded expectations in terms of size and comfort. We really couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

"The room was not as clean as expected"

The room was not as clean as expected. I found hair on the sheets on the bed and also one towel in the bathroom was not clean with hair on it.
On the bed as we arrived, there was also a kind of strange carpet to warm feet I suppose. When I removed it from the bed, there was dirt under it on the bedsheet.
The coffeemachine was in a so disgusting shape, that I did not dare to prepare coffee for me.
The shower browse ist slightly damaged, making it uncomfortable (water comes from behind the browse too, it should not be so).
Generally was the room not in good shape, furniture slightly damaged at several places, old carpet on the floor and the heating did not manage to get us a really warm place although it was not even freezing outside.
Breakfast was also not nice, cheese was old and dry. Fruits were very good. The woman at the reception on the arrival day was extremely nice, also the person responsible for the breakfast was kind and polite. The person at the reception desk on the departure day was rough, she didn´t greet us and simply asked "what´s your room number?" as I gave our cards back.
It was not worth the price we paid.
