"Absolute rip off merchants"
Legalised monopoly ripping off customers. Probably the poorest customer service I’ve ever experienced. Latest bill is a 26% year on year increase. Didn’t bother to explain the largest ever increase - they are way above such things. Contract says they can only raise bills in line with inflation which they completely ignore when you point it out to them. When you complain, their staff are trained to spin the numbers and ignore you pointing out the contract. Unfortunately it’s practically impossible to replace them as the Factor. Left with no choice but to pay in line with contract and dare them to take you to court.
NB - responding to the Greenbelt original response - yet again ignored the point on the contract being continually ignored (100% consistent in that regard!); I said it's practically impossible to change provider - which is the definition of a monopoly in practice - which is the basis of Greenbelt's business model...

I had an issue with the areas been cut , we live next to an open field and it was over growing on to our drive way and garden, I wrote to green belt (Nick) and it was sorted within a few days and now the area looks loads better it's been cut

"Customer Service good when there was an issue"
Initially sent a bill with a late charge when we had never received the initial bill. I had got confused with the various bills and ended up overpaying. I was furious with this and contacted the customer service team to complain.
Vicky was fantastic, sorted it out immediately cancelled the late charge and posted a cheque instantly to refund the money. 4 starts purely for her dealing with the situation.

I've dealt with Duncan Park from Greenbelt for a good number of years now and found him to be really helpful. He's always professional and responded timeously when there have been any issues requiring attention.
Latest was completed within 2 working days so excellent service as far as I'm concerned.

I’d just moved into a new property and called up to clarify something on my bill. I spoke to Cora who could not have been more friendly and helpful. It turned out there was a mix up and she couldn’t fix the problem right away but made sure to call me back personally to let me know everything was sorted. She gave me her direct line if I needed anything further and I ended the call reflecting on what a lovely interaction I just had. Mistakes happen with systems sometimes but what makes or breaks that experience is having excellent customer service representatives who go above and beyond. It’s not an easy job and even more difficult when things go wrong but Cora handled it perfectly! Give her a pay rise :)
