The customer service is terrible. You can't get someone on the phone for customerservice. They text everything. They would send me wrong food orders. Then they don't want to refund me my money. They sending me food I have allergies for. Terrible experience

"NOT Recommended. Unreachable Customer Service/Impossible to Cancel."
Gave myself some time to cool down before writing this review to ensure I'm not coming from a totally unreasonable place.
Here's what worked: the food gets delivered quickly.
Aside from that one point, I have a few gripes to share with interested readers: it is virtually impossible to get ahold of customer service. IF YOU'RE READING THIS AND WANT TO TEST WHAT I'M SAYING, call their customer support line 816-888-3539 and see for yourself. The call gets immediately disconnected and you receive a text saying someone will be "with you shortly." "Shortly" ends up sometimes being tomorrow.
I tried to cancel my subscription with them because the food was wildly high in sodium -- I realize that frozen foods getting transported across the country necessarily will have some salt to ensure freshness...but guys, we're talking 300% daily value from a 400-something calorie meal in some cases.
I also tried to cancel my subscription because the food recommends a certain length of time in the microwave, which is always completely wrong. By the time the food gets heated to 165 degrees, it's rubbery and terrible in ALMOST every case (I won't say all - the chili was great, one of the chicken dishes was delicious). But truly outside of that, it was all really bad. Which is frankly shocking given the amount of salt.
I TRIED to cancel my subscription. And when I finally got someone to text me about this request, they were ridiculously plastic in their response. This is a transcript of our text conversation, beginning with the automated text I got after calling:
THEM: Thank you for contacting FlexPro Meals. A representative will be with you shortly. To expedite your request, please reply to this message with your name and a brief description of how we can assist you.
ME: [My Name]. Cancel my subscription.
THEM: (12 hours later) Good morning! Thank you for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear you're considering canceling your subscription. If there's anything we can do to assist, please let us know-we're happy to help! Best regards, Luz FlexPro Meals.
ME: Please confirm that my subscription is canceled. That's all I need.
THEM: Understand Aaron, is there any specific reason why you're looking to cancel?
ME: Not "looking to cancel". I'm canceling. You guys make it impossible to cancel and that's a particularly grimy business practice. I'm asking again for you to please confirm that my subscription is canceled.
Then I got an email finally saying it had been canceled.
Do yourself a favor and DON'T use FlexPro.

Samantha's customer service was prompt and communication was straightforward and transparent. Didn't feel that sketchy pressurized sales you get from so many other services.

I questioned about the accuracy of the package dessert calories as it seemed too good to be true that the package indicated serving size is 1 portion and serving per container is 1. The package contains 4 cake pieces. Samantha responded quickly and clarified each piece of cake is 190 cals. She said there was typo on the package label that should have said 4 servings.

I subscribed with flexpro because I need a meal delivery service that's reliable and most of all affordable plus YUMMY! AND THEY'RE IT! My coworkers are now subscribed with them and we're having a little pantry party with our flexpro meals.
