"Deceitful tactics"
I was contacted to select a seat for a fee. I expressed several times that I did not have a seat preference and wanted a free seat. I was told “free seats are not available.” I said “ok sure if that’s the only option” and my card got charged. I then asked what would have happened if I had showed up at the airport without a seat and was told I would be assigned a seat free of charge. I felt this interaction was incredibly deceitful as I had expressed multiple times that I did not have a seat preference I just wanted a free seat, but was instead told free seats were not an option. I also feel I did not consent to the payment as I said “if it’s the only option” but it was not the only option. When I asked for a refund I got no reply.

I could have give them zero if there is an option.
I bought a ticket from them on June 4th. Ovago and airline charged my credit card and after 4 months my issue is not resolved yet. Their customer care is awful. I am receiving weekly email from them (or AI )with same content “ thank u for your patience we are waiting for airline response “

"False Advertisement Of Seat Selection"
Ovago.com falsely advertised seat selection after I made a $2,750.00 purchase for a trip from New york to Bali, indonesia. Once my payment was made, they told me seat selection wasn’t an option (A purchase I would Not have made had I been given this information in the first place) and I would have to contact the airline directlly. After contacting the airline directly, they informed me that since I paid through a third party seller, they were unable to assist me. I asked ovago for a refund because seat selection was advertised when I originally made the purchase, this is considered false advertisement and I made this purchase under false pretenses. They told me, even though I had proof, that seat selection was never advertised. After showing them proof, They told me we added your seats to your itinerary. When I spoke to the airline they told me there is no history of seats being selected and that I should call the local authorities. Ovago is refusing to give me a refund and if they don’t I will be reporting them to the federal bureau of investigation for larceny of false pretenses and false advertisement. An investigation will take place for me and all previous customers affected. They also have multiple complaints of similar stature and they advertise that they are accredited by the better business bureau which is also false.
