I see all these glowing reviews, but unfortunately, I have not had the same experience.
I sent out my email to Cruisebound since I was interested in using their services.
On July 30 I received an introduction email from an agent, which I responded to right away. Did not get a response, so I sent a 2nd email on August 1st. Still no response so I sent a text on August 5th. I then received an email from the agent stating that she did not hear from me and if I was still interested. Seriously?
Same August 5th I sent an email and a text response. She then responded “I will get back with you tomorrow”. Today is August 11 and I still have not received a response.
I was getting frustrated until I realized, this is MY money, therefore I will take my business somewhere else.

The agent want above and beyond to fix a issue I had with my reservation!! They fixed it I got cruise credit and a upgrade room. I also got the difference in Fare refunded. I would not hesitate to book again. She was so friendly and helpful I could here the cheerfulness though the chat!!

Cruisebound has fantastic customer service! They really care about their customers and work hard to ensure customer satisfaction. One example I can provide is that I booked my cruise directly through Cruisebound before I realized that my credit card company had additional cruise benefits if I had booked directly through the credit card travel portal. I contacted Cruisebound and they went above and beyond to get these additional benefits applied to my existing reservation with them. Amazing company! In addition, everyone I spoke with at Cruisebound was just so pleasant and helpful...in particular Francine! She is fantastic! I highly recommend using Cruisebound to book your cruise trips!

"Misleading Agent Violated Cruise Line Policy "
I would be careful that you are getting an agent that knows cruise line polices and not just trying to get a sale. We are a family of 5 so we called to ensure that we could get connecting staterooms as I have three young children. Spoke to the agent who booked them for us, we did have to pay a bit more than we budgeted because she said she had to reserve two 3 occupancy rooms to guarantee connecting rooms. Less than a week before the trip we checked in and realized one of our rooms had been switched and the kids are now on a completely separate deck! I called and was told there was nothing that can be done because both rooms were booked in a three person occupancy and Carnival's policy is to switch it since we were only a party of 5 not 6. Now we are being told the ship is at capacity and there is nothing that can be done! I have escalated through Cruisebound but they seem they just want to apologize and move on, of course they already got their money so they don't care. They are saying they have no record of how our booking took place even though it had to be via phone because you would not be able to book a 3 occupancy room for just two people via the website since it selects rooms based on your party size. Cruisebound is not taking any responsibility for violating or bypassing cruise line policies and just going through the motions of "trying to help" without acknowledging thier mistake in booking our rooms. I will update if this gets any resolution. Otherwise this will be my first only and last time booking with them
Update post Cruise… unfortunately the room situation was not able to be resolved after escalation but Cruisebound did provide some on board credits and acknowledged the rooms were not properly linked causing a mix up.
