"Lying cheating company"

Lying cheating company! Every time I call to cancel the “manager is busy.” They will not even allow me to cancel my own account! Garbage lying company! Can’t believe I ever fell for their lies! PLEASE DO NOT JOIN THIS COMPANY.

"Don’t use this company!!"

Don’t use this company!!! I paid extra per month for them not to auto bill me and some how my card got put on auto bill and got a lot of charges I didn’t authorize!!! Steer clear they will tell you your going to get a lot of business from them then they say we aren’t a lead generator!!!

"Scammers,"

Scammers,, we fell for their lies.... They tell you that if you cancel your account the website is yours from the get go but when you try to cancel they tell you you have to pay extra to keep your website name, they tell you they will give you all access to your account if you cancel,,, that is a lie..... I've tried cancelling several times and get the run around.. They call and text to see if they can run your card for billing and if you tell them no, they do it anyways... their customer service reps barely speak English and its hard to understand them... this has been going on for way to long. BEWARE,,, THEY DO NOT DO AS THEY SAY

I utilized 411 locals for a year and a half. I am closing my business so I am trying to cancel my website with them. I had a rep contact me and completely belittle, barter, haggle, harass, and then at the end of the conversation said “good luck with your life as we send everyone else your business”
411 locals left my business name with one review hanging out there ... the one review was negative and this person was never a customer of mine. TERRIBLE business!!! I recommend NOT getting webbed in with 411!

"I was suggested to try this company…"

I was suggested to try this company out. I called them and talked to a guy that seemed nice and they could help my business. I voiced my concerned about the negative reviews online and he assured me that I wouldn’t be charged if I canceled. I paid my initial deposit but within 24 hours I changed my mind. I called not even 24 hours later and the rep stated that I wouldn’t be issued a refund and owed them money. I was kind of hurt and confused as to why, when it haven’t been 24 hours later. I received no service but I owe them money. The amount they say I owe isn’t much but it’s the principal behind the lying and scamming. I should have listened to the negative reviews. Lesson learned

"They are very good at baiting you which…"

They are very good at baiting you which is why they got a 2 for effort. The first month they give you a host of promises they set you up with a "specialist" they answer all your calls and then once the money starts flowing they are ghosts. Here are the issues

1. They set you up with a website give you all this talk on optimization and google and how anytime you want to edit it they will make changes. First site they did was elementary at best they didn't put anything where we wanted it was all off centered etc. Since we were still within our month they answered the calls and emails and tried again. Trash X 2.

2. They set you up with a call center to answer and transfer you calls. An extra 10.00 a month not bad worth a shot right. Problem is since the website is never setup correctly most of the calls you get are from things you do not do.

3. Two months in the payments keep rolling out but the customer service goes on sabbattical. We contacted them multiple times still trying to give them a chance to update the site because a site speaks volumes and as our business was growing we were embarrassed to send customers to our site because it didn't speak to our business. they wouldn't answer a email or a call.

4. We gave them a good hard try for a year and realized we could do better. In a year we may have received 20 legit leads from them. A mediocre website and subpar customer service.

5. Closing them out is very difficult. We called multiple times and emailed for months trying to do it the right way, they kept saying oh somebody will call you to go through the cancellation process. They never did so I cancelled the card they were getting their auto pay from and low and behold they called back as soon as they couldn't get paid. It's a miracle your phones do work.

Went through the cancellation process and they started calling like crazy to get us back. Very rude representatives we were over the overall experience and it was a solid no for us. We just wanted our domain name back, which was another hoop. Coming up on 2 years as a small business here's what I learned.


TIPS:
1. When you get your new business registration you will get calls from 100's of scammers promising you visibility, support etc. Pump the brakes on all of them. Reflect on your business and what it needs over the first year and start off on a social media platform for your visibility until you decide whether or not you even need a website, or somebody to pick up your call...

2. NEVER GIVE any random scammer ownership over your name, domain, website etc. They will say things like "we will take care of that for you", "we will help you out so you can focus on business". Sounds great to an overwhelmed business owner, but what they mean is we own it now and if you want it back you have to pay us to the tune of starting at 99.99.

3. For your phone get a voice over IP service (i.e google voice, dialpad etc. We use Grasshopper, works great has an auto text message and voicemail feature as well as extensions. So if its just you in your business the system will "answer your calls" until you can get back to them and allows you to text back if you're too busy to talk but want to touch base. Also great feature is if it's more than just you you can run the app on multiple phones and everyone can see the communication with customers so everyones on the same page at once.

Though the answer my calls service was tempting you don't want anybody representing your business but you. I have no clue how the 411 local team answered those calls and how they treated my customers. Maybe they did ok or maybe that's why we only got 20 legit leads who knows but if it's your business You Should.

4. Visibility: Social Media is always great. Most people use instagram to start. If you want a website. BUY YOUR DOMAIN NAME Do not let anyone create i.e own it. A domain name runs less than 20.00 a year I just paid 99.99 just to get my name back from 411 local plus have to pay the ownership fees. Hopefully I can save you 100.00 bucks cause I sure didn't.

Moral of the story is. Find out what you REALLY need before you let somebody talk you into something you don't.

Good luck. I would suggest you all read these reviews and give people a fair honest shot at success in their business. Hire real website designers who care or partner with services that provide their clients with platforms they can be proud of. Stop manipulating the new business owners and start actually focusing on helping them. Just some thoughts, take them or leave them, maybe you're doing your best.As for me and looks like 100's of others my company will be moving on and not looking back. Good luck again!
