"Good experience, poor design "

I have always had a good experience with Blue Nile, however, this time I had to return my purchase and there was not a suitable replacement item. The platinum hoop earrings I purchased were pretty, but the earring clasp was poorly designed. One was too tight to close and the other fell open easily. Being platinum, I dare not try and self adjust, so I returned them for a refund. Very disappointing as these were a Christmas gift for my wife.

Purchased a new necklace for christmas at the start of the month.

Saw the next day that it had reduced in price by a substantial sum. A quick call to customer service and the difference was refunded.

Necklace arrived as advertised, and is beautiful. The wifes happy, and so am I.

Picking the engagement ring out is a huge task. Being able to look online through the different diamonds and setting was so easy with Blue Nile. When the ring arrived (ahead of schedule) I was amazed at the beauty and had tears in my eyes!

Ordering was so easy because the descriptions were so thorough. My ring arrived before the estimated delivery date, which is crazy considering that it was during the holidays. And my ring is better than I could ever imagine. I can't take my eyes off it! This is my second purchase on Blue Nile and it won't be my last.
