"Awful experience"

Awful experience. I went to their showroom in Charlotte, NC to exchange a necklace for a bracelet. I was told in the store that my item would arrive the following Thursday. It did not. So I called the customer service (if you can call it that) and was told that it hadn't been mailed out yet. They said they would overnight the item. Again they didn't. Lie number 2. When I got the shipping information, showing it hadn't been overnighted I called again. I was told a supervisor would call me back to discuss. No one called me back. Lie number 3. I called again 4 days later and was told tough. They also accused me of lying about what I was told in the showroom. Avoid this company, they don't tell the truth and take no accountability when found out.

"Do not deal with this company"

Do not deal with this company! they have nothing left, only samples. They make an order for you after payment, but your order may not arrive by your significant date. And their support does not work, they answer calls, receive information, but do nothing afterwards. Bypass this company if you don’t want to have a bad mood, a spoiled holiday and an incomprehensible number of days of waiting for a refund because you didn’t receive it on time.

"False Representations"

Blue Nile made a false representation to me to induce me to make a purchase and didn't follow up on their representations. I would never do business with them again.

"I ordered a ring from Blue Nile"

I ordered a ring from Blue Nile, eternity diamond and sapphire platinum ring, they sent me a used, old, silver ring which looked nothing like what I ordered. I called and they asked me to return it, which I did, then they emailed me and asked that I file a police report. They sent me the wrong ring I need to file a police report? It was their mistake. I returned the merchandise, they charged my CC and now I have to solve their problem? It's been a week and they have no answer, no proper investigation as to what may have happened. I will be calling my CC company next to refuse the charge.

"Never ship and never refund"

I order the ring on 24th Oct and bank wire the full payment.

First, it is claimed to ship on 4th Nov
Then. 9th Nov
Then 11th Nov
Then 15th Nov

I can’t stand 4th time delay so I cancel order.
Now 6 days passed, they haven’t refunded the money despite they never send out the good.

Hk customer be careful. Bluenile does not have business entity or bank account in hk so any dispute can’t really solve easily as the police, consumer association, court, gov cants regulate a US company!

"Buyer Beware…Blue Nile Does Not Care"

A pendant necklace was advertised as available, but the matching earrings were discontinued. I bought the earrings on another site, in perfect condition, and ordered the necklace. The wrong necklace was sent. Thinking the error was a fluke, I returned the first necklace and reordered the one desired. Again, the wrong necklace was sent. To make matters worse, Blue Nile initially refused to believe my claim that the wrong necklace had been sent.
I was then told that the desired necklace was on back order. One date after another passed. Meanwhile, the return date for the earrings had passed.
Finally, after approximately two months of waiting, the necklace was discontinued.
Customer service could help me no further. I sent a letter to CEO Sean Kell regarding my experience. As of yet…no reply…after a month of waiting.

Still waiting on my refund

"DON'T COUNT ON A REFUND like they tell you"

I ordered 2 diamond/pearl items. One item had a certificate, but the second did not have a certificate. As a customer, I began to have doubts about the authenticity of the products if they were unable to provide a certificate to verify the authenticity of the earrings. Blue Nile advised that the earrings did not come with a certificate so offered me with a full refund at no charge. They also advised the shipping was fully insured.
I followed the instructions as advised and used the courier company they requested to organise for the return parcel to be picked up. The parcel allegedly never arrived to Blue Nile despite the driver picking up from my house. So the package must have been lost in transit somewhere.
I was then asked to provide a driver receipt to confirm they arrived at my house. The driver never provided me with a receipt because I thought the tracking number was the receipt. I provided security footage to confirm that the driver arrived and picked up the package - a level of proof that the average customer is not able to offer, but yet still Blue Nile have NOT refunded me.
Over a month later after returning the items, even after I provided security footage that the driver attended my house to pick up the parcel, STILL NO REFUND.
The promise of a fully insured return with no questions asked has not been my personal experience. Still waiting on my refund Blue Nile. Unacceptably poor service. Customers, take your money elsewhere.

"Hurt my credit. Never got my ring."

Go look around at this places reviews. They notoriously postpone shipping time after time after time. Which they did to me as well. I had opened a $18,000 line of credit for this ring. After multiple postpones of delivery dates because of “quality concerns” I finally canceled it. A month later after Knowing I now have a card open with no balance I was going to put something cheap on it to help my credit, they had closed my account. I got a thing in the mail saying basically sorry everyone, we no longer offer lines of credit. So my credit took a hit to open it and got another hit to close it and I was never even able to use it. The person who let me apply online had to have known they were about to close the cards! Why did he let me do it without telling me?! I never would’ve opened the account! Do not use this company. Do your research on them. Pls.

"Poorly made ring"

My husband bought me a sapphire and diamond white gold band from Blue Nile US to match my engagement and wedding ring. Unfortunately after only about a month of wear I lost two sapphires. I returned it for a repair and they were only able to replace them with smaller sapphires of a different colour. They told me I needed to only wear it occasionally. I didn’t wear it for a long time but the one night I did I lost one of the newly set sapphires. Now it sits in a box because they will not allow me to return it, even though it must of been defective or poorly made. I am beyond disappointed and we will not buy from them again.
