Bought the nerdminer 2 usb. It didnt come with instructions. But after a few minutes with their support, Sam Baker Got me up and running. Great customer service and very patient with beginners like myself.

"Unnreliable products, Waste of Money."

Bitcoinmerch is a Horrible company, got the items over 2 months after I paid for them. They can't help you fix things when you have issues, Product issues from early on, to much down time over and over. there answer is to buy things you don't need, they told me buying this SD card would fix the problem, after 2 SD cards at $30 each to fix mars lander it didn't work, the cover for the lander wasn't machined well, had to force cord to fit through hole, it then broke. their solution, her is a link to buy another for $50. sent them oproduct back But I pay for shipping and the parts, wanted to charge me labor for a faulty fan that didn't last 3 weeks. They have a 30 day warranty only but because the Mars lander and USB miners kept failing I hardly got any use out of it. They even suggested I buy the more powerful Power supply when I had issues, I did and that Fixed nothing, I was the idiot for going on so long and just wasting over $2000. Good luck getting money back, they are only here to rip people off. Google this company and look up similar experiences. Ill copy paste this everywhere I see so I can warn people.

Edit to Address Reply from Bitcoinmerch: BitcoinMerch had several chanced to make things right and still has not, No loss of funds or compensation other than cover the "labor cost" of installing a simple fan, they made me pay for the shipping and the fan that broke, even after I pointed out they sold me power supplies, not one but 2 Sd cards, and the mars lander Acrylic housing that wasn't machined right. Also I was told they were sending me the most current software version On the SD card, both times tehy sewnt me old software versions with less options in the Interface. I mentioned this they ignored that I ever even said it, on both emails I sent to them. At this Point Bitcoinmerch is trying to act responsible to the public eye, but they have done nothing, they want a good appearance So they can sell more Merch. not to me the customer who was wronged and continues to be wronged by Bitcoinmerch. Nothing has been done to compensate or to make it right, even after they replied to this.

"The Worst Online Ordering Experience I've Ever Had - Bitcoin Merch - Mars Lander and Compac F Order"

I placed an order with Bitcoin Merch on 21 March 2024 for the Mars Lander V2 and 6x GekkoScience COMPAC F. While the ordering process was straightforward, everything after that was problematic.

There was a 2-week delay due to backorders, and by 7 April, I was told to expect an additional 2-4 weeks' delay. Despite paying $99.99 for a Compac A1 upgrade on the Mars Lander to expedite my order, it wasn’t shipped by 1 June. I was informed of further delays due to testing and was promised shipment by mid-June. By July, the Compac F was still delayed, and I was offered more upgrades at extra cost(6 x $99.99 USD). I refused and suggested swapping to 4x Compac A1s, which Zeeshan agreed to at no additional cost. My order finally shipped on 18 July.

Upon receiving the package on 1 August, one Compac A1 was faulty. After arranging an RMA and paying for return shipping, I finally have my setup working.

Timeline:
21 March 2024: I placed an order for the Mars Lander V2 and 6x GekkoScience COMPAC F with Fan Upgrade and 10-port USB Hub Combo.

7 April 2024: I was informed of an additional 2-4 weeks' delay due to backorders.

9 May 2024: I paid $99.99 USD for a Compac A1 upgrade, which was supposed to expedite my order.

1 June 2024: I was told further delays were due to testing, with a new shipping estimate of mid-June.

19 June 2024: After 13 weeks, I was informed the Mars Lander with Compac A1 was ready, but the Compac F was still delayed.

18 July 2024: My order finally shipped after I suggested swapping the 6x Compac F for 4x Compac A1s, which Zeeshan agreed to at no additional cost.

1 August 2024: The package arrived, but one Compac A1 was faulty; I arranged an RMA about a week later for the faulty Compac A1 miner, and paid for shipping back to the USA (from New Zealand).

29 August 2024: I received the new, operational Compac A1 miner.


Pros:
1. Easy initial ordering process.
2. Prompt responses from Zeeshan.
3. Straightforward RMA process.
4. Functional hardware once received.
5. The company is legitimate and not a scam.

Cons:
1. Took 17 weeks from order to shipping.
2. No proactive updates on delays and I always had to reach out to Bitcoin Merch for a status update.
3. Reasons for delays frequently changed.
4. Poor communication and customer service.
5. Inefficient handling of delayed orders.
6. Misleading back-order information.
7. I had to pay the shipping cost for the RMA from New Zealand back to California.
8. Outdated technical documentation.

Suggestions:
1. Implement automated notifications for delays.
2. Offer alternative products to expedite orders.

Summary:
I cannot recommend Bitcoin Merch for international customers due to horrific delays and poor customer service. I have given a 1-star rating because the Compac A1 hardware and Mars Lander seem to be running well, and Zeeshan seems like a nice person.

UPDATE: Bitcoin Merch has refunded my shipping costs, which is very generous. I noted in their response they said that they gave me a FREE Compac A1 upgrade … this did not happen. My order was reduced from the 6x Compac F combo to a 4x Compac A1 combo which at the time was a comparative cost, thus why I suggested it at the time.
I’ve had several requests from Bitcoin Merch to update my rating, and based on them refunding my shipping cost, and following up on my concerns I have decided to change my 1 star rating to 2 stars.
