INFORMED AT ALL TIMES
I have extremely positive feedback to give to Hyde and Rowe Estate Agents. I viewed my prospective flat twice, both times convenient to myself, and was picked up from the train station by Michelle and taken to the House as I am not from the area. The office team picked up any queries I had during the purchase, immediately, and got back to me very quickly with the response. She kept me informed at all times.

My experience with the company has been exemplary. I have sold properties through Hyde & Road and also hold my portfolio of 10 with them on rent. Management isn’t an issue as the team are fair and efficient. Highly recommend

"Scammers"

I have been trying to get my money back from them for 4 months now.
Michelle is beyond rude and unprofessional, would not have bothered to call/e-mail me back even once since she owes me a refund. Avoid at all costs.

"Hyde and Rowe - unscrupulous agents - Don‘t do it"

If you are a landlord or tenant whatever you do, don’t give them your property. My experience
- deducted money for quarterly checks - they don’t do this.
- They reduce rent paid to landlords without consultation. They tell you after the fact.
- do not respond to calls from tenants landlords
- will miss monthly payments and good luck getting this
- if your contract says company let, that’s a lie. They rent out to local authorities.
- I had to force them to hand back my property after reducing guaranteed rent paid to me as a landlord claiming COVID has impacted rent paid to them. That was a deplorable lie. Councils did not reduce rent paid to them in fact LHA rates increased during that period.
- once they hand your property back, they ignore comms for payment of money owed.
- Items missing or damaged when the tenant moved out, Hyde won’t respond. So they are charging for inventory without honouring it. Another of their many dishonest ways to part you with your money.
- they come up with lots of ways to part landlords from their money above are just a few.
Whether tenant or landlord or local authorities - don’t do it.
- Just Dont ..unless you are a masochist.
- FAO local authorities - landlords will bombard you when they are unable to get a response or their due rent from Hyde. This is all the time.
- I had to contact Lambeth to get Hyde to hand over my property.
- Also complained to the council about their use of a company like this.
PS - if you are a landlord experiencing problems with Hyde and Rowe, my advice is to ask your tenant which council placed them and contact their housing department, Email a team manager in the temporary housing department or similar, Make sure you email named individuals. Don't let them fob you off by saying is not their dispute. The council have a duty of care to the tenants so they should address any issues that negatively impact their tenant. Also email complaints to Chief Executive, The Mayor, Leader of the council, etc. Write a review and like reviews that you agree with.
Hyde is getting random people to leave fake reviews, denying that the people who write true reviews are clients of theirs and forcing their staff to like and write positive reviews.
They will keep acting in this unscrupulous manner until they are stopped.
UPDATE: I made a complaint to TPOS the ombudsman and it was upheld. H&R has been ordered to pay money owed from deducting rent AND compensation for the appaling way they behaved. This judgment should be on TPOS site soon!

"DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR PROPERTY"

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR PROPERTY. JUST RECEIVED A CASUAL EMAIL SAYING THEY WILL BE REDUCING GUARANTEED RENTAL ON TWO OF OUR PROPERTIES BY £200 PER MONTH. CLEARLY THEY ARE HAVING FINANCIAL DIFFICULTIES.
