I cannot believe how crafty these people are.
They now have their employees writing their reviews. I was looking through their "good" reviews because I cannot believe anyone would have a good experience with them.


I’m Happy
I heard about Hyde and Rowe through a friend, who’s property has been managed by them for years. I have now been with them for 8 months, never had any problems with them. The few issues at the property were dealt with promptly, and I was always updated.

"Think twice"

I wrote a review in early 2023 on All Agents and see someone has added a comment on my review which I suspect is not genuine. Only realised that because I was automatically notified by All Agents. Note that there are either 1 star or 5 star reviews here which should raise alarm bells. I do not use them now, fortunately, but understand that if you are a landlord with just one property, it can be a nightmare, and not just finacially. Spend time choosing the right agent, the number of brances should not be the deciding factor.

They have lied to me , and will not answer my calls , and have blatantly ignored my requests for my monies owed .

Here is my latest update of Hyde and Rowe. They are not improving. The director has a tight grip on her company, nothing happens without her say so and as she is has no morals, manners or intelligence, of how to run a company, things based of lies and avoiding phone calls will never improve. I thought they were improving with this new member of staff but because of my constant questions about my property, of things I was told would be done, but which never happen, she now never answers the phone to me, and now the other member of staff has started doing this too. So this rubbish company has got my property, has carried out work on my property without asking me, so they meet the council criteria, so they can stick someone in there to carry on getting council money. They have done this to my flat in Croydon knowing that I have served a section 21 on them for both my properties, the other one in Beckenham must be sold in February, meaning I want them back, but Hyde will try keep hold of them, to put council list people in there, to earn money from my hardship, I will loose the other property to the mortgage company. They carry out work and deduct them from rent that they pay me as if I have agreed to any of it, even though they know I no longer want anything to do with them. This property manager Marianne says that looking after properties is not her job but thats what being a senior property manager, its not making sure none gets to speaks to the director who controls thjngs, all she does is pass the buck.

I have just found out that all the furniture that I left in my flat in 2017 has been stolen by the people Hyde have been putting in my flat, because they never checked anyone in or out of my property's or checked on my property's ever. I was threatened legal action by the people who manage the building because of the state my property was in, from Hyde tenants. Hyde has refuse to compensate me for this even though they say they will in their contract, which I found out is a bunch of lies to make people accept them. I have email proof of the furniture I left in there, the south croydonn. Ranch manager, who just like here avoids taking phone calls and who just like her tell lies have denied ever seeing any furniture in there, I have emails from this branch manager, months ago telling me everything was fine in the flat just wear and tear, and I have an email from 2017, when they took my flat over, that I sent to a member of staff called Ivana listing the furniture I was leaving in my flat. Proof yet I heard today this Michell is saying I am not paying him anything, I have put an oven in his flat, because the woman and kids they had put in there, said it was not working, even though the oven in there was less than 18 months old and no one asked me. They will do what ever a tenant from the council tells them so that they keep them happy so keep getting council money, they dont care about the owner, I dont want this woman or her 3 kids in my property. The electricity certificate, that I did not do, so they could not put some in there, Marianne has done, as if I had agreed to it, so she could put her in there, I think that Michelle offers a bonus system, for getting people in these property's, so she could earn money, even though I want my flat back..

I have served 90 days notice on both my properties and been ignored. I have served section 21, 60 days notice on both my properties and been ignored. The next stage is court to get control of my properties back, yet I never got acknowledgment of the section 21s so I think that they will deny ever getting them by email. I have been reasonable trying to sort this out but all I get is being ignored by the branch manager, the director and the property manager telling me that she is powerless and cannot do anything. Now she does not answer the phone to me, she just cuts me off.

Totally ignoring the fact that I want my flat back, I have been told by Marianne, that she had got me a £200 a month rent increase on the 7 year old £1150 rent that I have been getting on my flat in Croydon central, then a week later I was told, BUT only if I sign a new contract with them. They have just been putting people in my flat non stop.
There is damage all over my flat and you can see where the tenants have tried to break into the 4 padlocked attic where my stuff if, which would not have happened if they did things right.

Now they are forcing me to take them to court to get my 2 propertys back. I live abroad and I am not happy.
