I used the DIY option „sell for free” and even though I paid for extra Rightmove listing and AML checks it was much less than high street agent. The property is now SSTC after two weeks, it was easier that I expected or maybe we were lucky. The local expert was friendly and responsive. I agreed with his valuation.

"Terrible customer service"
Terrible customer service. Accepted an offer on our property on the 28/01/25 we are now on the 26/02/25 and we still don’t have a memorandum of sale. Everytime we call we get passed from pillar to post. Excuses like oh your case worker is on holiday or that he’s on a break he will call you back. Yet we have never recieved a call back. Extremely frustrating. When you pay money for a service you expect that level of service. Seems to me like they are happy to take your money but not happy to do the service.
We are now expecting our buyers to pull out as they are as frustrated as us. Cannot instruct solicitors until this has been resolved.
Don’t do what we did, find a reputable estate agent instead and pay the extra fees.

I have spoken to lisa broadhurst this morning and I would like to say it was a very pleasant and helpful conversation, and Lisa actually phoned me a couple of times and was so helpful. It is very stressful selling a property but with Lisa on the other end of the phone it was made much nicer and stress free. 5 star customer care from Lisa Broadhurst.

I have already given them further information, they rang me to say that they had my complaint but it was 2 weeks before they started to look into this matter,I was informed that it will be 15 working days from the day they started to look into my complaint.This is outrageous it should be 15 working days from date of complaint. So still waiting for a refund 😡
