"These are the worst landlords…"
These are the worst landlords imaginable. I was with Suffolk Housing and then they were taken over by Flagship who are now either calling themselves Flagship or Newtide Homes. Like a psychopath they change their identity every five minutes.
I've had 17 months of Hell living in my flat because the moron upstairs keeps saturating my flat with toxic fumes. They performed one investigation, purely because the Fire Service conducted an investigation and the landlords didn't want to be found to be disinterested in my complaint, and the landlords actually gave the offender ample notice of the investigation so he could remove all evidence. That is exactly what he did and since then I have suffered terrible pain as a result of the nerves in my sinuses being inflamed by these fumes.
Since then they have treated me as though I am either a liar or a fantasist. They refuse point blank to respond to my complaints and one time even threatened me with harassment charges to try and stop me from legitimately complaining. They really don't give a toss if any of their tenants are suffering just so long as the rent money keeps coming in; that's all that matters to them.
My advice to anyone who is unfortunate enough to be a tenant of these landlords is to do what I am about to do and stop the rent payments. They will then act because money is the only thing that they care about, along with giving dozens of their homes to Afghans to signal their virtues whilst the rest of us continue to live in Hell. You run the risk of being evicted but let's be honest: even the streets are likely to be the better option than a Flagship/Newtide/Ted Bundy home. I am ready for that life, that's for sure.
No doubt my reply from Flagship/Newtide/Ted Bundy will say that my complaint has been fully investigated, but there are two problems with this. First, they actually warned the offender of their inspection so he simply removed the offending chemicals before the inspection could take place. That isn't a full inspection, that is a failed inspection. Second, I have complained since about the chemicals infiltrating my flat but I have not even suggested that the chemicals are coming from the flat above; I have simply stated that the chemicals are detected in my flat. Which is a whole new complaint, as well as a health and safety concern, but these complaints have also been ignored. It could be the boiler producing these chemicals smells, for example, but as usual the complaints have fell on deaf ears.
You lot are bloody useless.

Do not ever contact flagship/ RFT or now victory/flagship services by phone, you will be lied to. They operate a drop box system that only offers excuses for them to use to get you off the phone without a record. Your number will also be flagged. Always contact them by letter or email,so that there is a record,or if they visit you,try to have somebody else present to take minutes for you. Too many outstanding jobs to list, 30 truck loads of rubbish from the back garden alone that didn't exist because the box was ticked. Heating doesn't work, utility room is classed as a coal shed even though we have a separate coal shed. The utility room is cold,damp,moulding had a leaking roof. Bedroom has holes in ceiling and water is running down the walls. Roof cannot be fixed unless chimney is removed? To name but a few. Jobs will take many attempts to complete by cheapest possible way,using substandard materials. Complaints process is an absolute joke, 15 months without a response, just keep giving themselves more time. And yes I know you appreciate how frustrating it is but you really don't. And you really don't care.

"Awesome Upgrade experience."
Had the absolute delight to have the Suffolk RFT crew with Aaron Cummings and Bailey the electrician. Over the moon doesn’t cut it with how they both respected my property given i had brand new carpets throughout and new decoration in my lounge just of my kitchen. Multiple floor dust sheets were put down by me to make them more comfortable with the comings and goings in and out. But still highly respectful of my flat. Aaron each day left my kitchen dust free due to his work ethics and integrity and my hay fever. His installation went to plan the full 5days bar coming back
Monday just gone for couple tiny snags. Again my kitchen now looks so beautiful couldn’t be more pleased.Just lovely lovely blokes a credit to the RFT team for Suffolk +++++

After previously living with sanctuary housing and their electrics were so poor we had a flat fire. Flagship are brilliant my housing officer Karen Glover is lovely always incredible helpful. When I am needing a repair they come out and get right to it. I don't have any thing bad to say about flag ship. Happy tenant.

Well I've had my kitchen glued back together twice now sink only resting on the unit twice now the repair man told me that I would have to have a new kitchen but when you finally get to speak to a person they tell you that you are not on it and to call them out and said they are not working yet so if they are not working yet why is there 3 rft over the road by the way my kitchen is 30years old with all of tiles your Mrs Finch

So another day a week etc. Still haven't heard from you Martin. Our street is still watching number 8 having windows and what ever the lady's gets done every day. Our back patio door frames are worse than ever, rotten and still waiting after 3 years to be replaced, still waiting on work that was done back on November 2020 to be finished, bathroom tills and paint work, doors rft hung and never painted. Windows let the cold in, drafts, there never replaced. Paint all the houses nice and white wood work weather people live in them or not, inside that is. Our house was filthy when we moved in. Why can't they sort people out first who have been here from the beginning of flagship "private" lettings. Its getting to the stage where we will a long with other residents be officially complaining to our housing officer in private lettings and probably higher.
Please Martin find out what's going on.

I have spoken to Rosalind at flagship she is the a best housing officer in there she has dealt with my complaint really well she is a lovely woman and very polite and she has dealt with me thanks so much

I made the unfortunate decision of trying shared ownership with Flagship.
Around 1 year in I’ve had a leaking roof, a broken oven and a major bathroom like which has subsequently damaged the kitchen ceiling.
They have offered little to no support, they have no checking process from the previous owner/tenant.
Any problems are you problem, there is no cooling of period, no empathy. Nothing.
They are a terrible company and I am now on phase 2 of my complaint after being advised that the housing ombudsman will not entertain my claim due to all avenues not being explored.
It’s been 5 months!!!! AVOID.

"I’m trying to move as this home as not Practical for me now"
I’m trying to move as this home no longer fits my requirements as it’s too far from car and steps to road also ? I’ve been told I need to swop ? But I saw you could do a tenancy transfer ?? I have asked many times for help to move to either Ipswich where my family is or to a bungalow in sane area with parking ? Serveral have become vacant and I even offered to paint it myself and pay two weeks rent to give me time to move over ?? But been told no have to swop only ? The council even sent a letter in asking you to help me as finding walking to car hard ? But still nothing .
