I have never had customer service like this!!! I was phoned to check that I was buying the right printer, the operating system I was using was compatible and what type of printing I was going to do. Was then told that printer would arrive the next day and it did. I cannot recommend Printerbase highly enough.

"Avoid - I have doubts about their honesty !!"
My initial impression of this company was good because I was telephoned following the placement of an order for a printer to ensure that it was the right one for my requirements.
They shipped everything as they had promised on 18 June and I just had to wait for delivery which should have taken 2 days. Great, I thought !!
Ah, but .. that is where it all started to go wrong !
Unfortunately they shipped my purchase out with FedEx who have a dreadful reputation for unreliability, particularly in my locale.
And so, by 24 June, after several fruitless calls to Printerbase's Customer Services department and with the package still undelivered I asked for either a refund or a replacement to be despatched by a different carrier.
I spoke with their Customer Service Advisor 'Yvette' who told me, and then emailed me, to say that 'she had despatched a replacement' by DPD and if the original shipment arrived in the meantime I was to decline delivery.
Now I have received dozens of shipments by DPD and I know their systems and their local staff well. DPD always notify the recipient of a package that one is on the way.
On this occasion one, surprisingly, did not arrive.
So I emailed Yvette for details of the tracking information for the DPD to confirm shipment to allow me to monitor the parcel's movement - AND TO CHECK THAT SHE HAD DONE WHAT SHE SAID SHE HAD !!
Interestingly .. and the of source of my doubts and suspicions .. this request was met with a stony silence !!!!!
I suspected that Yvette had done nothing and was going to hold on, avoid answering my calls and emails, and hope that, sooner or later, the original FedEx package would finally be delivered. If that was what she had done, then that would have been totally dishonest.
As it happened, the next day, 25 June, the original FedEx package did arrive and, contrary to Yvette's instruction and in keeping with my own suspicion that nothing else was coming, I accepted the FedEx parcel.
It was lucky I did accept that original parcel.
Ultimately, I never did receive a DPD tracking notification nor a DPD parcel, so my suspicions were correct. Yvette had just sat on her hands and was not entirely honest with me.
Would I go to this firm again ??
Would I trust this firm again ??
Would I recommend this firm to anyone ??
Judge for yourself from these events.
My answer to all three questions is NO, NO, NO.
My recommendation from this experience is to BUY LOCAL whereve you can. At least you can look the salesperson in the eye and you don't shell out any money until you have the goods in your hands.

The website is informative and easy to use. Prices are competitive. The printer ordering process was straightforward. Printerbase contacted me the next day about my purchase ensuring that I had a clear picture of the printer (eg it only has single sided printing). THe delivery was very prompt and communication about it excellent
