We really enjoyed the car, however what I disliked were the scare tactics employed by the employee at pick-up. He kept repeating (untrue) information about needing an extra insurance, despite me having booked an external insurance. I knew I would need to put down a deposit, because the insurance was external, but he kept repeating that even one scratch would cost me my (2100 euro!) deposit. He was so busy with the scare tactics, he forgot to mention that it would take up to a month for me to get my deposit back. This was a bit of an unpleasant surprise when I went to drop the car back off. I can not fully give an honest review yet, because I don't know yet if they give me back the deposit without issue. I did not cause any damage to the car, which was confirmed by the (much kinder) employee at drop off, so I hope this won't cause any troubles. The experience of pick up did leave sour taste in my mouth for the whole of the holiday, and caused me a lot of stress about bringing back the car. Not the first impression of a country you want. Lastly, good to note that the location is a little walk from the airport, this is doable, but not something we realised and a little annoying with big suitcases.

I took over the car two hours later. Your worker told me that I have to pay. 40 euros because I was late. money is not a problem. I have a feeling that you want to take as much money as possible from us. I understand that, I use rent a car all over the world. but I have never seen anything like this.. I will not use your service again and I will always say a bad recommendation for you

Tous les clients avant moi se sont retrouvés avec des surcharges d'assurance.
Ils ne veulent pas entendre parler des couvertures d'assurances autres que les leur.
Technique: ils exigent une carte de crédit et ils ne font pas une empreintes pour la caution comme les autres loueurs, ils utilisent la la possibilité de crédit de la carte et c'est à chaque fois refusé. Donc obligés de prendre leur assurance.

Staff are all very friendly and helpful and check in was easy.

Car itself wasn’t great. We paid a little extra for a VW golf or similar, ended up with a Skoda Scala. In terms of size it was good, but the seats were all sweat stained, the car reeked of cigarettes and the exterior had damage on every panel.

When we drove the vehicle a warning message and light to check coolant kept coming on and there was a reminder that the car was overdue a service and oil check.

The smart link option to connect up your phone hadn’t been activated, presumably to encourage you to rent a sat nav from the company for an additional charge and to use the car in any other EU country we had to pay an additional €80. So overall not as budget friendly as you’d think!
