"Unethical contract requirement - Not a good option"
I have been using Ring Central for faxing for several years. After establishing a physical presence, I signed up for three lines of service. Initially, the contract was for three years, but I later realized that I had unknowingly agreed to be automatically renewed annually. If I do not cancel 30 days before the renewal date, I am automatically enrolled for another year without the option to acknowledge whether I want to continue the contract or not. I believe that automatic renewal into a new contract without the consumer's consent should be illegal, as a contract typically requires explicit acknowledgment of terms. Unfortunately, I now have to wait another 11 months before considering switching to a different service provider, which I find to be unethical business practice. I would prefer to have the option to decide whether or not I want to renew for another year after my initial contract term expires.

We spent 3-5 months trying to get our phone number transferred, doing absolutely everything and it never transferred. We were told that we would be able to cancel whenever it didn't work and when we went to cancel they told us we were in a year contract and we could not cancel till after a year. We pay over $40 dollars a month for a year for a service that never even worked for us.

"I am a longtime business customer"
I am a longtime business customer, RingCentral only accepts card payments, not ACH bank payments. My business card was cancled due to a fraud purchase on the day my payment was due. they disabled my account, when we called to see if we could pay with a bank ACH they declined this. I could not talk to anyone and was put on hold until the system shut my call off. I find it amazing that a business service would treat thier customers this way. I will be looking for a new service.

The system seems to be tailored for large companies and doesn’t seem to be able to tailor to small business.

I feel the system is not user friendly. The portal is so complicated ( and I consider myself a smart consumer).
