"Scam! Do not use, They will trap you!"
Scam! I will explain their scam.
I called them just to enquire about the product and what they can do.
1) I was then offered a free 30 days trail.
2) I called to cancel this trail in that 30 days.
3) they offered me an extension of 3 months, actually said the words " try it more 3 months and see how you feel"
( I have clearly said we do not need this yet was tricked into it by the sales team )
4) I call to cancel but am told can only cancel within the first 30 days. So now have to pay 280$ monthly or 1650$ to cancel.
Tricks and manipulation, stay away from this company.
Also 0 customer support or understanding.
Adding more info: The company does not care, the review team will reply just to have an appearance of service but will not actually reply to any emails. Stay AWAY!

"We've had ring central since they…"
We've had ring central since they started I think. 15 years maybe? They've been ok, but this morning, everything stopped working. I received the below email. Credit cards sometimes expire. It's unacceptable to cut off service with no warning. When we called, they couldn't take the payment because their systems were down. And it wouldn't let me log in to make the payment. Insane.
We have been unable to charge the card ending in 7460. Your account has been temporarily suspended and your RingCentral number is no longer active. To reactivate your account and avoid further interruption to your service, please update your billing information today.

"Customer Service is Worse than the call quality. "
We signed up for Ring Central at the recommendation of our Franchise HQ. After porting over the numbers the system worked ok, but was not great. The call quality from day one was bad. It sounded electronic, and very hit and miss as we'd hear every 3rd word the client said. It didn't matter if we were on our office Fiber Internet, if we were at home on our fiber, cable internet or using the mobile apps. We had desk phones too and the call quality was awful.. About a month ago we received no calls that were clear enough to hear what the clients were saying. It lasted for about 11 days before we finally got our numbers ported out. We called spoke to our Rep, got transferred to techs, then the rep quit. We tried the chat feature on the website to get help, and it was just a support hell of FAQs. Finally when RingCentral impacted our small business enough by not returning support calls, not logging our CHATs we switched providers. Now they are trying to collect $3600 for an early termination fee. This company doesn't deserve it. They did nothing to support the contract and in fact breached the contract with us. I'm forwarding this complaint to the Washington State Attorney General, and the FTC. We missed out on sales calls, and customer support calls for 11 days with no help.

Avoid these guys at ALL costs. Worst service and support. Shady billing and just an absolute disaster. Nobody knows anything hand you off to retell your story all over again. Sometimes they make the issue worse than cant undo it. Just AWFUL top to bottom

The worst company to deal with. First of all, none of their extensions work. The reps that manage your account never follow up with you, you ask for a supervisor, and they never call you back. Truly unprofessional

"Steer well clear"
RingCentral are one of the worst companies I've worked with.
We've been having service issues due to their tech for almost a year now. The issues include audio problems and people telling us we're breaking up on the calls and sound robotic due to the feedback.
We pointed these issues out to RC and they said there wasn't much they could do to resolve it and maybe we should try changing our numbers. In spite of the issue not being resolved they marked it as 'solved' so nothing happened.
They've repeatedly ignored requests for help because their customer service team is overloaded apparently. If you can't serve the customers you have then stop taking on new ones perhaps?
We've tried cancelling our contract due to poor service but have been ignored for the past 2 months. I wish we'd never gone with them in the first place as they're by far one of the most expensive with the worst service.

"Great customer service"
I use Ring Central along with SAS (Specialty Answering Service) for my call answering and I am pleased so far. I will say their customer service is great and they get back to you with urgency which I appreciate. They're available to walk you through setup and the whole process. Their user interface could be more intuitive. It takes time to get used to it and the navigation.

"These people treat their customers…like dirt."
These people treat their customers horribly. I've been a long time customer. We switched to Spectrum, and then came back. Been a decade with them. We used to have an accountant, but she took off. When I started handling the books, I found 2 Ring Central contracts for the same account number after 1 year worth of billing. 1 = 700 per mo. 2= 300 per mo. When I called them, they wanted another 3k to cancel the old 700 per mo contract! I was like, you guys took around 10k is that not enough? The same phone number? When I came back, you didn't tell me the old account was still there. You just created a new account. Since Jan 2024, I've still been billed month - with all escalations, that people will get back to me, etc. I even threw money at them to pay the 3k. Last week, they were to send me the close out invoice. Never did. I got it at 5:32am today, after they pulled ANOTHER 700 out of my bank account. BE VERY WARY OF YOUR CONTRACTS WITH RING CENTRAL!!!!!!!!!!!! They purposely hold off on sending information, close-out invoices, or working on escalations just to milk you for your money.
