"Company has a culture of humiliating customers "

Firstly, how this company has a rating of 4.5 is a complete mystery. Either they are having staff write the reviews themselves, which wouldn’t be a surprised, or the customers haven’t discovered they’ve been lied to yet, or needed the company to do something else.

This company is an absolute disgrace. They seem to have a culture within their office of bullying and attempting to humiliate customers. This seems to be from the top down too, as this simply wouldn’t happen at this level otherwise.

They miss sell, they overly inflate what you’ll save as well as pluck numbers out of thin air if you’d need something fixed or replaced. This company has left us without heating now for over 2 weeks and we have a one year old in our house, which they find hilarious.

When speaking to a complete moron on the phone pretended to be a qualified engineer ( I can imagine there’s a reason he’s on the phone and not out on site if that’s the case), we got fabricated information as he made up the issues we were actually having, quoted us over £700 for a part that we can pick up for less than £200 ourselves and made sure we were aware that ‘they’re not a charity’ when we told them we couldn’t afford their ridiculous prices just to get our heating back on.

Not knowing that there were other companies that could help us, we felt completely at the mercy of this joke of a company. They don’t care what so ever about people, just money in their pockets and idiot employees who think trying to keep your child warm is funny. I’m also still waiting on them ‘speaking to their manager’ which was utter rubbish as I doubt the person I spoke to had the common decency to think about what he was actually doing and ask his manager. I would imagine the manager would just be as bad considering how they allow their employees to act.

Please do not use this company, they will charm you with their sales people but will completely miss sell you and if you need their help they’ll make sure it costs you.

They are now being reported to trading standards for their conduct, I’m certainly glad I recorded my calls with them as I doubt anyone would believe how they actually are and now have sufficient evidence to hold them to account.

As per their other bad reviews, they will probably attempt to bully and humiliate further with whatever employee has the job of replying to reviews. The fact they are still allowed to do that just confirms the whole culture of their office. Please take notice of the bad reviews, these are from people who needed help, not laughed at on the phone when you need them. Don’t use this company.

The customer service is exceptional, very knowledgeable and engaging Heating Engineer, Martin Lobjoie, is an asset to the company, taking time to explain the often complicated landscape of our hybrid gas central heating and air pump heating to a relatively newby - he took his time to explain everything, couldn’t recommend highly enough! We have just completed installation in our home of JA solar panels and a Pure drive battery system, using Greener Energy Group.
From start to end, the staff have been absolutely great, helpful and patient in advising what would be recommended, on costing and assisting with funding and grant through Home Energy Scotland. They were very good in advising on next stage as appropriate.
The installers were punctual, efficient, friendly and tidy.
We have no hesitation in recommending Greener Energy Group to anyone interested in having solar installations carried out, and neighbours have already been asking questions in this regard.
We are delighted with the result, and indeed the whole process.

Such friendly people, from the sales man who was less of a sales man and more like a mate giving advice, there was no pressure no hassle he was happy to walk away after over an hour going thru everything with us.

Then the installers, 1 guy was clearly in charge making sure everything was done properly and explained to me if needed, I have no reservations at all to give these guys the highest of recommendations possible.
