"Avoid like the plague"
Avoid using this company, they was recommended by the mortgage broker thought we would use them as it would speed up the process. They waited until the day of exchange to tell us that the signature on our contract looks ‘different’ so we would need to resend a copy via post, adding delays to the process. The contract was with them for weeks prior to this. Oh and don’t forget they will charge you astronomically for their service too.

"Not the best experience..."
Seeing as my "priority" email has been ignored, I feel I have no choice.
I wanted to share some issues that I've had to date with DL with my staircasing purchase (which was only completed before the stamp duty deadline on the 30th September 2021 because I chased up with the board of directors at Catalyst who got the legal paperwork sent to Direction Law on time!) So that was the first issue.
I appreciate the delays at the land registry are out of everyone's control, however whenever I tried to call those assigned to my case nobody would ever answer - I just had to repeat emails to get a response. I'm also frustrated that I've had to be the one chasing Catalyst regarding ongoing site management fees and the green space tax that is applicable on my estate - I'd have expected this to have been sorted as part of the final staircasing. If I hadn't, then I'd have had a large bill for these!
I now had to chase around Catalyst again as I need the NHBC certificate putting into my name as its still showing as a shared ownership property on their records. I've also asked DL to help with this and getting responses saying it's being looked into and nothing again and again this is something that I'd have expected to have been sorted upon completion seeing as Catalyst own no part of this property now. I ended up obtaining this via Catalyst who are also shocked that the solicitors have NO documentation about this as was all shared as part of the final sale.
I'm not entirely sure what the fees I paid to DL covered when I've done all of the above and seeing as I wasn't even moving, it was and continues to be the most stressful thing and the more that happens here the more I just want to sell and leave.
Still no response or resolution. What did I actually pay for? Who knows
ETA: Already have emailed the client services email...had 1 reply 2 weeks ago and nothing since. Have also chased this up to no response. It's all been ongoing since last August/September (2021!). If I hadn't chased everything then nothing would have been done including the actual completion of the sale!
