We were quoted £1400 for all fees. We ended up paying over £3500. We were then called after completion to say that they had over charged us by £400 by accident even after I disputed our bill being so high. Absolutely shocking service.

Our solicitor Christopher Grove basically never contacted us. It went on for 7 months of me constantly having to chase him but he refused to pick up the phone to anybody including sellers solicitor or estate agents. He would only email me and not my partner even when he was copied into the emails.

In the end I dealt with 9 people from Direction Law, they are all rude an unprofessional

Christopher would not give us straight answers or give us any information and updates. In the whole 7 months I spoke to him over the phone twice and actually ended up contacting the sellers solicitor myself.

Good service reasonable cost. Things went fairly smoothly, I did however feel that some discussion time (not via email) would have helped especially as this was my first property purchase and it was often not easy navigating the specialist jargon. Would recommend as I said the purchase went smoothly.

I wish i could write a positive review, the mis-guidance and total incompetance left me overwhelmed and i am shocked that using a legal adviser can give wrong advise. Trusting a solicitor doesnt work with my experience!

I loved how digital and easy direction Law were, I prefer this way of working. I had trouble at the start with the money laundering checks but I understand this isn't direction Law, but they should review who they use. Rest of process brilliant and great communication.
