Very inefficient company. I arranged an appointment last week and they were supposed to show up today. However 10 minutes before the engineer was due to arrive had a call to say that he could not come as he was tied up on another job.

Metro rod came out to us this morning arranged by livewest. The bloke was very polite and didn't hang around getting on with it. He didn't say his name but who ever it was that come out to ashton way Saltash to us today is a credit to your company.

Do not depend upon this company in an emergency situation, or for any other requirement.
We had an emergency situation (blocked toilet flue) and was visited by two personable but ultimately helpless ‘technicians’, who left without fixing the problem. They promised to escalate the matter. Then nothing. On the third day, after multiple calls to a ansaphone, we got though, only to be told to expect a ‘technician’ in 5 DAYS TIME.
I suspect the deep rot within this company to be primarily at managerial and systematic level, a decay which can extend to ‘technicians’, who may or may not have any competency.
AVOID THIS GROUP.

I called Metro Rod at 10am and one of the engineers turned up at 1pm to do the work. The engineer, Vince, did a great job and throughout was very informative and went above and beyond in making sure he did the best he could for me. He is a great employee.
The price I was charged for the work was highly competitive, give them a chance to quote and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
