"Poor customer service"

I am new to One Traveller holidays, and have only been on two UK breaks so far, to Norfolk and Worcestershire. Both were very good in terms of the itinerary and tour managers, but in both cases I felt that the hotels were not 4* standard. As One Traveller say they are very anxious to have feedback, good or bad (and actually today I got an email asking me to leave a review on Trustpilot), in each case I filled in the feedback forms and also sent an email to customer services. I had no response at all after the Norfolk trip. I sent an email 3 weeks ago with my comments on the Warwickshire holiday, and having had no response to that either, other than an auto reply, I chased it up last week. I got a brief response saying my comments had been noted and the details were still being investigated, they would reply within 30 days. This is pretty poor customer service. Today I tried twice to call One Traveller with some queries as I was contemplating booking an other holiday, but on each occasion, having chosen the appropriate menu option, the phone rang for more than 2 minutes, no reply and not even a voicemail facility. If it's that difficult to get through on the phone I'm not sure I want to book another holiday. Having lost my husband just over 3 years ago, it took a lot of courage to 'go solo' on holiday and I am disappointed by the lack of support from One Traveller.

Just got back from a trip to Vienna with One Traveller. What a brilliant company. David our tour Manager went above and beyond to make our holiday perfect. My first trip as a Solo. Met some lovely people with similar interests. I am about to book another trip for next year.

I have just been on my first One Traveller holiday to Austria and Oberammergau to see the Passion Play.
It was superb, excellent accommodation and food, and a brilliant tour manager. The extra touches make all the difference and make you feel a valued and special customer.
I will certainly be returning!

I booked to go to Austria in August for my second holiday with OT. It was one of the best holidays I have ever had. The friendliness of the other travellers and the knowledge and experience of our tour guide Jana, all helped to provide a holiday to remember. The excursions were well planned, interesting and fun, from the top of Kitzbuhel to the dungeon of Hohenwerfen Castle, there was always pleanty to hold your interest. The history of Austra is fascinating and all the holiday was topped off with an evening of Mozart opera in Salzburg. Wonderful.

"My first experience with One Traveller"

I was due to go to Austria with One Traveller (my first one with this company) at Christmas 2021 but this was cancelled at very short notice because of Covid-19. The cancellation was handled quickly and efficiently by One Traveller and I received my full refund very quickly.
I therefore booked a holiday to the same destination and with a very similar itinerary in May 2022. I also booked a holiday to the Black Forest for the following month.
On both holidays I was most impressed by One Traveller's efficiency and organisation. In dealing with the office I was treated with courtesy and helpfulness and on both holidays the tour managers went out of their way to ensure that everyone's needs were satisfied.
I was particularly impressed by the efforts made to ensure the satisfaction of each individual. I had been on singles holidays in the past, but on these two holidays there were individuals who were experiencing this for the first time. Great efforts were made to ensure that everyone felt comfortable, and that no-one was left out.
I have booked One Traveller's Lake Bled holiday for Christmas 2022 and I am looking forward to it very much. I am also looking forward to further holidays with One Traveller in 2023 and beyond.

They range from a trip on the rocky mountaineer to a weekend in Oxford.
Booking is so easy and you are kept informed every step of the way which was very helpful during the pandemic chaos.
All of the tour managers are cheerful and helpful
And sort out any problems as soon as they possibly can.
I hope to go on many more trips.

I have recently returned from the Rockies Canadian trip. One Traveller organisation as good as ever and Richard, our Tour Manager, was unflappable, funny, caring and patient. All the elements of the holiday were superb. Some trips had to be rearranged, Lake Louise being frozen probably not in the plan! This was my second trip, India in 2019 being my initiation into the One Traveller family. Looking forward to Georgia in September. Keep up your high standards.
