"nice little touches"

This was my first time with OT. The tour guide was excellent - kind, funny and very organised. I'm not a natural group person but she always ensured I didn't feel left out. The trip to Black Forest had varied excursions, sometimes I would have liked more time but I understand there is a tight schedule to keep to. I did get tired of the buffet food and would have liked more restaurant dinners, there was just one. But overall it was a good experience with nice little touches like a call from the tour manager a few days before departure, a quizz with prizes, a nice gift sent after I got home.

"How to have a wonderful holiday!!!…"

After my husband died a few years ago I didn't want to go away on my own or on a package holiday with couples. It would have been too painful! I investigated you and you sounded perfect !
I chose Prague because I used to go there with my husband to buy pianos from the factory there. We had a music shop.
I thought if I went and wasn't enjoying it I could meet up with friends there. But I was having such a good time I didn't have time to contact anyone. Say no more!!
I would say to anyone considering a holiday with you to go!!
You are looked after without it being obvious and you feel safe and comfortable!
And you will have a wonderful holiday!!!

"South American Adventure"

I have been travelling with One Traveller for nearly 10 years which speaks for itself. Not wanting to repeat other reviews, I will just mention my most recent holiday to South America departing April 3rd 2022.I had booked this before the lockdown and just kept re booking until eventually it went ahead. There were difficulties due to covid and the necessity for tests and form filling. There were also problems due to an airline going bust in Argentina and a border to Chile being closed. However with some re-arrangements and the expertise of our tour manager and local guides these were overcome. This was just the most amazing 3 weeks I have spent for a long time. So many highlights - Rio, Iguazu, the Perito Moreno Glacier, the Grey Glacier, Buenos Aires, fun with the gauchos, colourful Valparaiso, Santiago, wine tasting, wildlife, beautiful sunrises to name a few. Then there was the excellent food and wine shared with a great group...... Well done once again One Traveller

"My favourite company!"

I have travelled with One Traveller since my husband died in 2016. Each time I have found them to be super efficient as far as paperwork, personal telephone calls and fast response to emails are concerned. During the Covid restrictions and despite the obvious disruption it was causing their business, they were totally flexible and accommodating. Their Tour Managers, without exception, have been superb and I have certainly experienced the 'family atmosphere' which they engender. The hotels have, on the whole, been good, with the exception of one of the hotels in Budapest and the hotel used for the pre-holiday get togethers. I have always found my fellow travellers to be lovely and I have made some very special and lasting new friends. I am now looking forward to the Swiss Alpine trains and a holiday in Puglia later this year. Top marks go to One Traveller which is, without doubt, my favourite travel company.

"Perfect holidays for mature singles"

I have been on 6 holidays with One Traveller and every one has been excellent. It is a family run company and their attention to detail is what attracted me to them initially. I was nervous on my first holiday but I was immediately welcomed by the tour manager and my other solo travellers and on my return booked another two trips. Holidays with One Traveller enables me to visit places I would not normally be able to see. I have another trip booked with them and I know it will not be the last. They are excellent in every way.

"Just returned from my fifth holiday…"

Just returned from my fifth holiday with 1T and could not recommend them enough. I have had mostly good experiences with other comas a single person but 1T go above and beyond in comparison. I really appreciate the the tour leader travels with you both ways and assists in checking in. I love the numbering system for supper as it not only pushes me out of my comfort zone but introduces me to chat to people I might have missed in the big group. Each holiday is well planned and thought out. The guides are amongst the best I have met and the tour leader always available. Looking forward to my next trip.

"OT always my preferred choice for solo travelling. Definitely the Best."

I’ve been travelling with OT since 2012 & have been on 16 holidays with them to date & have 3 more booked for this year. I’ve had some incredible holidays & seen some amazing places all over the world. My two favourites are Thailand for Christmas & Vietnam/Cambodia. Last year I took the opportunity to travel with them to some UK destinations when they very quickly added them to their list of holidays.

I find their itinerary very varied packed with lots to see & do, good quality hotels & helpful tour managers. The brochures have very clear descriptions of the itinerary & what’s included. I like that we are met at the UK airport by the tour manager, the numbering system for dinner where you get to meet everyone & also going out to restaurants in the evening a few times instead of always eating in the hotel.

Yes I’ve had some issues & not everything is always perfect but they can easily be resolved. They appreciate feedback too.

The one aspect which i feel could & lessen the holiday price is the amount of meals included throughout the day. There’s always a big breakfast to indulge in & an evening meal so I personally don’t feel the need for an included lunch & sometimes plus an afternoon tea!

For anyone travelling alone I definitely recommend One Traveller. They do give that bit extra. You will be well taken care of, meet a variety of friendly people, & make new friends, be well fed, visit lots of places & just have a wonderful time!

"Brilliant company - wouldn’t go with anyone else."

Firstly,I am absolutely furious that Trust Pilot saw fit to remove my previous review.
This is an absolutely brilliant company with whom I have had more than 10 holidays, and each one has been a wonderful experience.
This is a very caring company that truly looks after its customers, and as a result has a very loyal following.
I have spoken to several fellow travellers over the past couple of days (we really are a family) who have been equally appalled by the negative reviews posted earlier, hence our positive reviews. I should add that one of them was on the Dunstan Hall holiday and neither recognised the review, nor the reviewer, so I wonder why that review has not been removed!
Don’t be put off. This is a brilliant company and I, and a number of others, wouldn’t go with any one else.

"Simply the Best"

Having never travelled on my own I was apprehensive when I went on my first One Traveller holiday in September 2015. I was more than impressed with their organisation. The hotels, flights and tours were all great and the tour manager could not be more helpful. Yes, there can be the odd hiccup but these are quickly sorted.
I find the office staff to be very helpful, answering questions about regional travel and pre-departure get togethers as well as concerns about the holiday itself.
Testament to my enjoying a One Traveller holiday is I have been on 24 and have 4 more booked at present. I have been to places I could only dream of going to e.g. North and South India, The Deep South in USA, The Canadian Rockies & travelled Gold Leaf Service on the Rocky Mountaineer, to name but a few.
I have met some lovely people with whom I keep in regular contact and yes we sometimes meet up on One Traveller holidays. Any other holidays I have been on I always seem to end up comparing it to my One Traveller experience.
Anyone who is on their own and considering a One Traveller holiday then go for it.
