"Don't bother wasting your money!"

Don't bother wasting your money! Paid £7 for next day delivery on Thursday night, I won't receive it until Monday. Don't offer the service it you can't fulfill it. When I rang to complain, I was greeted by the rudest, most arrogant man (I won't call him a customer agent because there was no customer service). Don't waste your money on a brand that offers below standard customer service. I certainly won't buy from you again.

"Functionally useless website"

I'm trying to take advantage of a sale, but the FCUK website is basically nonfunctional. The average wait for a page to open is over 30 seconds and some won't open at all. Also, the size filters don't work. Other web pages are opening fine, so the problem isn't on my end. Very frustrating.

"Ridiculous returns policy"

Bought a few items off the website, and wanted to return some pieces. Returns policy was ambiguous whether free returns was included or not, but every page advertised free delivery over £50.
Extremely annoyed to find a returns label with no postage paid. Spoke to customer services who said this can be found in the small print of their terms and conditions, but NOT on their returns policy details page! Ridiculous! Every other retailer offers free returns.
Not actually got a problem paying for returns, but more transparency needed! All wording should be clearly printed on the RETURNS POLICY not in the fine print of terms and conditions .

I don't see a point contacting your customer service as I have spoken to THREE separate people via email and your online chat service who are all adamant that your returns policy is all too "clear" on your terms and conditions page. Shame on you French Connection!

"cancelled my order 'out of stock' to increase the price"

Ordered a dress for a big occasion, got my email confirmation and then not long after an email saying it was out of stock and would be sent in three weeks. Three weeks later, I get an email saying my order isn't in stock so it's cancelled. I checked the website and it was in stock in every size (still is 5 months later) but had gone up €100 in price. So I was kept waiting, and told utter lies. Won't buy from FCUK again

"Have just sent this letter of complaint …"

Have just sent this letter of complaint to FCUK about their returns policy.

On Sunday 30/04/17 at 15:39 I purchased three items one of them a ‘Diamond Patchwork TE’.

At the counter, I noticed how the young man serving me was struggling to remove the alarm tags or other such materials attached to the clothing, it seemed to me as he didn’t have the correct apparatus, I do remember him at some point using a pen to leaver an attached item off my purchase. At the time, I thought nothing of it as we were engaged in light hearted rapport, he was a delightful attendant. (It's worth noting upon my return I choose not to mention this to staff as I didn't want the lad to suffer any unnecessary disciplinary action)

When I got home, my girlfriend unpacked the FCUK shopping, removed & disposed of the labels.

She pointed out to me what looked like a small blue ink stain around the collar area of the Diamond TE. We agreed we should take it back to the store and get it exchanged.

As it was Sunday and I work 8am-5pm weekdays I was forced to wait a week to take back the item.

I thought in no way could it be a problem exchange as, it met the criteria stated in your returns and exchanges policy. I had the receipt, and had kept the shirt in immaculate condition.

I took the T-shirt back earlier today. The store supervisor / manager informed me very politely that an exchange was not possible as; ‘you cannot return a purchase without the info/price tag’.

I thought there may be a chance I could retrieve the tag from my waste paper bin at home so, I said to the two members of staff who were dealing with me; I would begrudgingly head home to retrieve the clothing label. The superior attendant kindly asked if I could hold on for a moment for her to make some inquiries.

After a long wait at the store, she returned and informed me that; even with the label, an exchange was still not possible.

At this point I did try to point out that surely the staff were trained to use a clothing label tacking gun thereby enabling them to reattach the tag. I also added, even if I couldn’t produce the label, an enterprise as large French Connection may have access to duplicates.

My statements were met with total agreement; however, my situation did not improve.

Exchange denied, I left the store with some advice on how to remove the stain. I couldn’t help but think my request for an exchange was valid and within the conditions set out in the displayed returns policy. I feel strongly that changes should be made to the policy...

Might I suggest that a line be added to the text displayed on the counter and customer purchase receipt: ‘Returns only possible with original label still attached’

All said and done, I am pleased to report; I removed the stain leaving no mark. I did have to suffer the £3.09 cost of the stain removing product, but I’m pleased I can now enjoy my funky cubist TE, though priced at a stonking £40.00 + the £3.09 and all the hassle; it’s just about worth it… because; by golly, it does look the part!

Looking to the future, if I am tempted to shop once again at your boutique in Brighton (current unfavorable feeling having subsided) … during the after-purchase fourteen-day period, I’ll be sure to wear any acquisition with tag fastened correctly, rubbing between apparel and skin.

Does that sum up an issue that need addressing?

Useless customer service and ridiculous next day delivery policies, unless you are home all day do not expect to receive your parcel.
Will be returning the items.
Do not expect customers services to help you out either.

Very dissatisfied customer.

"Over a month of trying to get a solution"

I ordered a coat and a sweater that I was really excited about but never received. When I placed my order, I was given a tracking number from UPS that never worked. When I emailed them about, it I was given another tracking number from USPS that said my package was already delivered with no apologies. (The website states they use UPS but why was my package "delivered" through USPS?) Worst part is I never received said package and I called them to have no solution to their mistake. I'm extremely disappointed.

"Slow delivery for such a large company."

I am shocked that such a large company has not yet addressed their delivery process. It took 3 days just for the delivery to be despatched and with no way to track this had no idea when it would be arriving. I do feel that French Connection should look into this, as when ordering through them most people would be spending a substantial amount of money. Unless you wish to pay the extra for next day delivery you will have to expect a slow, untrackable delivery, therefore it is safe to say I will not be ordering online with them again. The clothes however are very good.
