"Terrible robotic obstructive customer services"
I bought a bag which promptly broke one week later. Went in store to return as instructed by website and am currently going through a convoluted interaction with robot like customer services to get a refund/credit note. I'm guessing they make it as difficult as possible so you give up and they can keep your money.

"DIDN'T RECEIVE MY ITEM"
It's been 13 days since I placed an order and still haven't received it!
I've contacted customer service twice by their email and no one has replied although they claim they will reply in 48 hours.
French Connection didn't even give me a tracking number for my order!!!
I finally called them on the phone and they told me after 1 month that my order was cancelled and that it wouldn't be shipped to me. AFTER 1 MONTH THEY TELL ME THIS!! The woman then says that the item will be restocked and reshipped to me in 4 days. THIS NEVER HAPPENED.
2 months of emailing, phone calls, and my "restocked order" never comes to me! French Connection doesn't even bother to tell me that they're actually not resending me that order.
2 months of dealing with this and in the end all they send me is a 20% off coupon.
What a terrible, disgusting, business. Never shopping here again. Terrible customer service.

"DELIVERY / RETURN COSTS"
BEWARE!!! Check website before buying, especially homeware. I bought a rug. It wasn't right as the picture on the website showed it being a much more vintage look than it actually was so I packaged it up and went to the Post Office and it cost me £12.98 to send back!!!! I buy a lot online and most companies now do free returns. Unsure as to why a big outfit like French Connection don't offer free returns especially on large items and also they charge delivery even though my item was £155. Very dissatisfied and won't be buying from them again as it's cost me £12.98 for nothing as the product wasn't up to standard. Disappointing French Connection!!

"If you order from the US you need to call in your order to receive it"
I am very disappointed in French Connection for not fulfilling my order as placed last week on my Am Ex card. I order quite frequently with it from companies worldwide and have never been asked to duplicate my information after completely complying to the internet order form.
Since I had not read this e-mail from the French Connection until today--it will now be impossible for me to get my dress which has been officially ordered and paid for --but not really ordered and paid for--because French Connection has with held sending out my dress until I call you on the telephone to re-confirm all of the information that I have already submitted.
MY QUESTION TO FRENCH CONNECTION: IF YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE CUSTOMERS CALL YOU TO PLACE THE ORDER WHY DON’T YOU JUST SAY SO IN THE 1st PLACE?????????? THEN I WOULD HAVE HAD MY DRESS TO WEAR FOR NEW YEARS IN LAS VEGAS--NOW I WONT BECAUSE OF FRENCH CONNECTION OUTDATED & UNNCESSARY "SECURITY CHECKS". CHANGE YOUR WEBSITE TO REFLECT YOUR INTENETION TO VERBALLY "SECURITY CHECK" ALL OUT OF COUNTRY ORDERS AND MAKE THE CUSTOMERS HAPPY.
Unimpressed with French Connection's inappropriate fulfillment requirements not reflected on the website.
Unimpressed that French Connection wasted my time.

"Terrible returns policy - don't buy"
Bought a coat and returned it 2 days later as it was slightly too small when I tried it on over a suit jacket. Told I could not get a cash refund on a sale item but could get an exchange. Spoke to store manager who simply gave me the tel number for customer services. This was the wrong number. Afer finding the correct number on the internet., Customer Services re-iterated the returns policy but advised I could get a cash refund on a full price item I'd bought a couple of weeks before under their Christmas returns policy. I immediately went back to the store but the store manager refused a cash refund on that item too despite still having the labels on it and despite still having the receipt. I then e-mailed Customer Services who responded stating that the receipt had to have been stamped as a Christmas gift in order to get a cash refund. They didn't state in my previous correspondence. Not only that, the store sales manager didn't even ask to see my receipt to check if it was stamped before refusing a cash refund.

The dress WAS very beautiful.
At the first wash the dress is completely ruined!!!!!!
The information on the care label say FALSE INSTRUCTION! And i taked it to the cry cleaners. The beads of my dress were cast on the cloth.

"Poor quality and very poor customer service"
The worst customer service and products ever!!!
Purchased a Mac from Autumn range and went out for few minutes in rain and it looked like a dish cloth. I'm not used to pressing my costs after use but thus could not be worn after this one time.
I sent back and was told no problem and they couldn't care less that it looked like a tramp had slept it it all night and Weren't interested that as a full time carer I had no time to press my coat after each outing. Rude lady very uncaring! Poor quality product at very high price!! Can't believe these people are still in business. I will now contact trading standards

"Dont buy online from these guys"
I spent 100 USD in two items and turns out that, although UPS argues it was delivered, I never received it. When I called French Connection, I was treated very badly. They have initiated an investigation and told me there is no assurance I will either get the items redelivered or my money back. This is a shame. Nobody should purchase online under these conditions.

"Top notch customer service"
Absolute brilliant customer service which is so often hard to find nowadays. I ordered a coat and (2nd one I have ordered from them in as many months) and when I realised it wasnt going to arrive in time for the weekend I asked if I could pay for a quicker service. My request was dealt with swiftly & effectively & I always received a prompt reply from either Sara or Chelsea - both deserve credit for the job they are doing. Excellent work, keep it up!
