"Fantastic workmanship and fitting"

Recently had 4 windows fitted. One was a large bay window. Fitter did a fantastic job. Very polite and very diligent. Attention paid even to all the little detail. Finished everything to a very high standard.

"Excellent workmanship"

We recently had new windows and doors fitted and would like to say that we are extremely happy with the service and product. The workman were outstanding, very tidy and polite. The first day was really terrible with heavy rain and they worked despite weather but left early however returned at 7.30 next day to finalise installation. I would definitely recommend smiths as I my opinion they provided excellent service.

The only negative point it after sales which needs to be improved. We are still waiting for a over panel to be fitted to bay window.

"Harassment by phone!"

We had a conservatory built by Smiths at the end of 2016. I can not fault the work, all the trades people who attended were polite and worked hard and the end result was a beautiful conservatory.
I was promised it would be finished by Christmas but sadly it wasn’t and there were a few issues with the doors which were resolved after several calls.
My main complaint and the reason for writing a review now is the constant harassment I am now having from their sales team! I receive several calls a week from different numbers. I have blocked several of these numbers and have asked on more than 6 occasions to be removed from their call lists as we have completed all possible work to our house in the last 2 years. Today I was called from a withheld number!!!! When will you get the message?? Stop harassing me please!!
So I’d advise you to only contact this company if you are prepared to be telephoned every week by different people trying to sell you things you’ve already got...including whatever work they’ve just done for you!! They’ve tried to sell me a new conservatory at least 3 times since they built the one I have!!

I contacted Smiths for a roofline quote and they were very efficient from the start. They responded to my initial request within hours and the work was completed well within the timescales that was provided. The installation was of a high standard and the guys who carried out the fitting were friendly and left the property in good order once they were finished. A highly recommended local company with excellent customer service and work provided at a good price.

"The only department that will answer the phone is Sales"

I really wish I had read some of these reviews before I paid so much money for my conservatory, I have been trying to contact their ‘service department ‘ ( if it even exists) for over 2 weeks because there was no drain away dug in when they built the conservatory and we now have a swamp for a garden and rising damp on our new £15k conservatory.
I have left numerous messages with the sales department and sent many e mails to the service department but absolutely no response from anybody.
Should I start digging myself to get rid of the damp ?
You can phone every department they have and the only department that will answer is sales .

EDIT.....
Got through today to a very pleasant lady in the service department and she is going to arrange for an engineer to visit to assess the problem so fingers crossed it gets sorted .

"Really Poor workmanship"

Really Poor Workmanship and Project Management, and can not get through to Customer services, My Conservatory is still not completed, with water Leaks and no electrics installed, been chasing for months to get all sorted.

"STAY AWAY"

awful company.. stay away if possible. they are very quick to come for new jobs but when it comes to repairs seems like you have to beg them. You phone and are told to leave a message and someone will contact you but htey never do. Hada conservatory done with them over a year ago and it has been leaking from day one adn still leaks but no one can be bothered to come and fix it.
