I highly recommend smiths glass I had a beautiful conservatory put in and the structure has stood tall in this horrible winter weather in England . The smiths team talked me through every thing every step of the way and notified me of any changes or descions that needed to be made I shall be back in the summer to have my front door replaced

Smiths are very efficient and helpful the salesman was very good not pushy compared to others we had. The office staff were friendly as were the fitters. Nothing has been any trouble. All making good has been done and left clean and tidy. I would definately recommend Smiths to anyone who was thinking of having a conservatory installed. We may go for new windows at the end of this year.

Update on my post :
My other half when to their factory today where Mr D Brands did not even let him into the building and had 1 foot in the door then he was told to wait for a phone call !!!! Absolutely disguting company if anyone can afford an extra £500 go to a different decent company !!!!
I will make sure now i post on every website and blog about my disappointment as i dont think my £800 deposit you owe me worth the bad press !
Extremely unhappy with the poor level of customer service. I have been chasing for an update on a conservatory order we paid deposit on on the 1st of September 2017, having found out that not even the planning permission has been submitted. We have been calling for the last 4-5 weeks always been promised that someone will call back but no one does. We paid a substantial deposit , signed the contract over 5 months ago. I do not understand why this is so difficult or is the company having difficulties ? At the same time I received 2 cold selling calls from Smith’s but as soon as I mentioned the outstanding order they ended the call.

installation is good but after service is worst
customer service number is always on voice message, never reply emails or voice message.
After installation no customer service
still calling me for more sales and marketing offers but no response for the faults

"Soffits, facias and guttering"
I had my soffits, facias and guttering replaced. The overall cost was very reasonable and the fitters we're friendly and professional and did a great job. On the downside, there was a mix up with the scaffolding co. and it took a few weeks to get the scaffolding taken away, otherwise I would have given 5 stars. Very happy with the work.

Would not recommend this very pushy company did not keep appointments and when work was done they took money from card which we did not give them permission to do so , office staff very rude
As Smiths have just replied I would just like to add that in answer to this reply we have no contract number, we signed no paperwork to say we were satisfied did not even have a chance to look at work before Smiths were on the phone demanding money, when we said we would pay when scaffolding was removed and we could see that work had been carried out and no damage had been done whilst this was taken down we were told by a very rude manager that they were closing in an hour for Christmas and that they taking the money from the account we had paid the deposit on whether we liked it or not.
And no we did not want finance because we had the money to pay for it as you found out when you
took the money without our authority
PS HAVE YOU GOT THE DOCUMENT THAT YOU SAY WE SIGNED WE WOULD BE QUITE HAPPY FOR YOU TO PUBLISH THIS AS EVIDENCE

First rep. Was a bit too pushy with quotes. Surely the days of starting high and then offering degrees of discount are over. The actual installation was very good. The two installers took care and were clean and tidy in their work. Well pleased with the finished job.
