Horrible experience once I had to cancel within the 14 days cooling off period. I was informed that I would be charged a cancellation fee even though Bollingtons terms and conditions clearly state you will receive a full refund within the 14 days. I pressed quote strongly on this fact to the advisor Jordan and then to her manager Melanie from the business support team which was quite difficult to get on the phone with her even though she was advising the advisor to charge me cancellation fee. Once I got on the phone with the manager Melanie, she informs me that she would like to check these terms and conditions to verify my claim over the T&Cs. I was hoping that once she read the terms she would at least apologise and advise that there is no charge within 14 days cooling off period. On the contrary she informed me that she is not sure whether I should be charged or not but will forward this to the complaints department and will call me to let me know the outcome. SHOCKING experience. Everyone makes mistakes BUT when T&Cs are written on official documents WHY not follow and oblige by them. What do you gain by complicating things when they’re very clear ? I strongly urge Bollington to listen to this conversation..!!
