i have had various problems with my motor trader part time policy from day one, i was initially told i couldnt have my son on the policy, after a while and a return call this was rectified. i am due for renewal in early January and after the first week in december i noted no renewal quotation or contact from the company! to avoid being left to a last minute scenario i contacted them and spoke to one of their team, they kindly looked into the renewal for me, assured me they would upload the quote and send out the renewal quote by post to us, this arrived over a week later 17th december and had suddenly risen by £600 !! i was phoned today as am looking into the matter to see how they have arrived at such a rise with other companies. i was contacted by Bollington to ask if i had received the quote, i explained my concern at the price hike in 10 odd days and frankly just hit a brick wall!!! i explained after being talked over and patronised and told it wasn't on the system about my concerns that a detailed communication hadn't even been entered as ever happening??? i politely stated i was exiting the call as frankly by this time i was feeling like a scammer and probable liar. fortunately for me i found the work book i recorded the persons name i spoke to. How do you honestly expect to keep peoples trust when detailed communication dont get uploaded. yes i am annoyed and irritated by the total lack of empathy displayed by your team member , who just stated she would upload my opinion to the system. without trying at all hard i've got a better quote and well what a sorry situation.

"Worst company I have ever dealt with"

Worst company I have ever dealt with!

I have had nothing but problems since day one, not only was I miss sold a motor trade policy but now I have to jump through hoops constantly to keep it going, I’m deffinately not going to renewal my policy and will advise everyone to not even think about going to this company.

I was first sold this insurance on the basis that I would be able to insure all vehicles as I don’t know what kind of cars might arrive. But now I’m restricted to what insurance groups I can have, but what makes it even more pathetic is that even cars that are below the insurance group can’t be insured as they state “our records rate it higher” this is very funny whe they added the exact same vehicle a month or so prior with no issues! Absolute joke of a company!
I now still have to privately insure other vehicles to use them, totally pointless and unbelievably stressful.

"I took out a policy with this insurance…"

I took out a policy with this insurance company and have had nothing but grief with them they first ripped me off an admin fee then they have treated like a criminal and have threatened to cancel my policy to be honest I would not use this insurance company again and warn people to stay away. Type into feffo on the reviews 1 star and see how many people hate this insurance company, unfortunately you only see the 5 star ratings.
Will be going somewhere else very soon.

"Stay away"

I have been trying to contact with you for the last 5 days to discuss mypolicy but none of your phone number is working. I want to add some cars on my motor trade policy. Can you please advice if there is any way to contact with you. I have also sent email to mid__at__bollington.com but no response I have also sent e-mail to the sales person xxx.salesman__at__bollington.com again no response. I have also sent e-mail to their enquery department but again no response.

you wonder if this company is normal. I say no. hopeless ignorant people.customer service - there is no customer service.I don't want to believe that this company exists.I suggest that someone from government institutions be interested in this company.damage to clients' health

"This insurance broker is diabolical"

This insurance broker is diabolical! My father was with them but sadly passed away 6 months ago. They were told that ihis cover was no longer needed but they continued to take money from his account. Not only has my mum had to deal with my dad passing away but these thieves are still not refunding what they took from his account. It's excuse after excuse! Disgusting. I am livid. Its causing her so much stress. I will take it further if it's not sorted out soon.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I ONLY GAVE 1 STAR AS I COULDNT GIVE ZERO

"Quite simply the WORST"

Quite simply the WORST vehicle Insurance brokerage imaginable. Refused to accept renewal notice from existing insurer as ‘official’ despite supplying requisite copy and/ or release policy documents thereby leaving me uninsured and unable to drive for a week. Endless waits on hold that never got answered and appalling electronic communication skills . Told any refund could take up to 60 days so forced to initiate chargeback via credit card company. Absolutely one to avoid !!!

"Have been with bollington insurance…"

Have been with bollington insurance having motor insurance for many years. They have been efficient & friendly with good support, like all insurers they send out tons of paperwork ! However, have never made a claim on the insurance & that really is then when you know if your insurance is fit for purpose. Hopefully they will come good if a claim arises, processing it satisfactorily, quickly & efficiently.

"I strongly recommend you stay away from…"

I strongly recommend you stay away from this broker. Be aware of taking out insurance with this group for Anjuna underwriting. I have full comprehensive taxi insurance with them. Just before Christmas (2018) a builder drove into the back of me, police officers witnessed the incident and the third party admitted liability straight away. Third party's insurer even wrote to me accepting liability.
Unfortunately Anjuna have sourced out their claims to a company called Action365. For what seemed to be a straightforward claimed I am shocked at the performance level and attitude of the Anjuna claim handlers if only I could zero star on this rating I would.
Their priority is not repairing my vehicle but maximizing their profits via vehicle hire agreements and injury claims, they come across as areally pushy sales team, the kind that cold call you 8am in the morning!
They expected me to agree to their terms and conditions over the phone without me seeing them, apparently the can't post or email them to you!? Even for the hire agreement they would not give me the terms and conditions to see prior the agreement. Expected me to agree £203 ex vat per day for a vehicle on verbal trust.
I am very very disappointed shame on you Bollington and Anjuna if this is what you call comprehensive insurance.
As a result I have been left to the mercy of the third party's insurer to deal with fixing my vehicle. Lots of lost time and headache.
Will not renew with these guys and will send warning to all the taxi association members in my city.
