"invader mobility scooter"

Well just had my invader mobility scooter delivered. wonderful service from start to finish. thet guy that delivered it was so helpfull. and staff at mobility scooter plus. where the best. can't fault them. i'm going to have so much fun. thanks again everyone involved. fred.

"Another beware their business model warning"

Following my interactions with Mobility Scooters Plus, I would STRONGLY recommend avoiding them at all costs and checking elsewhere for your purchases.

With my circumstances only recently requiring me to use a mobility aid I was keen to ensure that I chose the device which was best for me.
I made enquiries with Mobility Scooters Plus about the Roma Reno Elite Powerchair as it looked right for me, and was thrilled when I was told by the Mobility Scooters Plus team that it was in stock and would be delivered within 5 working days, likely before this. I placed and order and paid on Tuesday 12/03.

After waiting a week without any delivery or update I contacted the Mobility Scooters Plus team to let them know I had not received it, and was shocked when they informed me that they were unsure when a delivery would take place as there was no stock available at the manufacturer and that there were also 9(!) others waiting for this particular powerchair. At this point, unhappy with an indeterminate wait, I requested a refund and was informed this would be processed and I would have the funds returned within 7 working days. This was confirmed by email on 19/03.

After 8 working days I had not received a refund, and contacted Mobility Scooters Plus again, and was advised that someone would contact me later that day. I did not have any contact, and followed this up the following day, morning and afternoon, and was advised each time that I would be hearing from the Mobility Scooters Plus team by phone, however there was still no contact until I received an email later in the afternoon advising me that their office was then closed until 02/04.

All in all, I have been given incorrect information regarding stock levels by Mobility Scooters Plus from the beginning of my journey with them, lost over a week waiting for a delivery due to poor communication, and they have breached their terms and conditions regarding refunds. This is a company who are taking orders and payments for products they falsely advertise as being in stock, and then delaying refunds.

Interestingly, I made an enquiry with another company, Invamed, regarding the purchase of this same model of powerchair. As it happens, Invamed work from the same site as the manufacturer of the Roma Reno Elite, and were able to obtain stock immediately. When I explained the experience I had with Mobility Scooters Plus they were shocked and baffled, explaining that there is plenty of stock available, and that their production partner regularly took orders from multiple firms, including Mobility Scooters Plus.
I proceeded with a purchase from Invamed on 20/03, and received the same model powerchair as I had ordered from Mobility Scooters Plus the following day.

I have checked Trustpilot for other reviews of Mobility Scooters Plus, and I note that there is another 1 star review from someone who has had a similar experience to myself on 12/03. Again, I would reiterate, AVOID Mobility Scooters Plus, and make enquiries elsewhere to avoid a great deal of stress and financial loss.

"I have now had two scooters from"

I have now had two scooters from. this firm and both times the service has been first class. This second purchase due to my first scooter being ruined by flood, the firm actually advised me on which scooter to have and actually saved me money.I can't praise them enough

"Fantastic Service!"

As I live in Germany I thought the delivery process could be somewhat problematic. However after receiving the wrong information (Not Mobility Scooters Plus fault) they went above and beyond to find the correct information and kept me informed every step of the way. I can not recommend them enough. A very friendly helpful service.

Very helpful and friendly service from start to end. I spoke to the same person each time I rang and that person kindly and quickly sorted out a mistake I had made when ordering. My mobility scooter arrived quickly on the arranged day extremely well packaged. I would confidently recommend this company to others.

"Tiller locking mechanism and the tiller itself "

Had a small issue with my Atto. They took my scooter to resolved it. f
For 4/5 days, I did not have my scooter but they repaired it very quickly. I thought it would take them longer. So I really appreciate their quick action to resolve my problem and to bring back my scooter so rapidly.

From the word go from my very first enquiry they were professional but friendly and efficient and kept me up to date on a regular basis.
My scooter arrived today and I am thrilled to say the least. I would, without question, recommend them as highly as is possible.

"Beware their business model"

My initial queries were answered with care and understanding. They clearly knew their products and systems, a great start so I was happy to do business with them.
My order was placed and an amount exceeding £3,000 was fully paid on 1.2.2024
I had no information and asked what was happening on 22.2.2024 (three weeks without any information)
On 23.2.2024 I got a reply informing me that it was “not the way we usually do things.” (A repeated assertion in their negative reviews). But no tangible information.
Still no information by 27.2.2024 so I cancelled my order before it was shipped.
On 27.2.2024 they asked me to give them more time without explaining why.
On 27.2.2024 I asked them to again to cancel my order and refund me as soon as possible.
On 28.2.2024 they acknowledged my request and then told me that my refund would take at least 17 working days for me to get into my account.
Today is the 11.3.2024 and according to my reckoning I have to wait for another 7 days to get my money back.
It is now obvious that they had no intention to fulfil my order but use my money as a short term, interest free, loan facility.
I'm now, reluctantly, getting my credit card company and PayPal involved in this problem.
Beware of this company.
