"Install excellent - slow service when fixes are needed"
I had a great installation with Tahmim, who went out of his way to make sure everything was working perfectly.
However they needed to change something on my account after install & since then I’ve had no broadband. They said they were going to fix it that same day but it's taken 4 days to fix.
Frustrating start but hoping for better now I have service again.

"Avoid Hyperoptic"
I signed up for a monthly plan with Hyperoptic to try them as there were quite a lot of complaints from other residents of my building that the service was unreliable. Service has been a bit hit and miss with a number of outages but nothing too bad. I decided I would therefore stick with them, got in touch to switch to a contractual commitment and the pricing they offered me was much higher than what they're advertising on their website despite having not previously had a contract with them?! Absolutely zero sympathy, a company that does not care about customers. Avoid at all costs.

As employees who work from home and have numerous online meetings, this time frame is highly unprofessional. "Appalling experience"
I am honestly confused about the reviews on this page. My experience with Hyperoptic so far has been terrible, and since I can't see an end in sight, I want to warn other people too. Hyperoptic became available in my area this year, and offered me a good deal to switch. The sales team was great, very helpful, and available to answer any questions. During the first installation on 13/02, the engineer identified an issue with one of the fibre cables in the outer building, but wasn't able to fix it. Fast forward to 19/02 (7 days without internet...), and another two engineers come to fix the faulty cable. "All good, you will have internet in the next 24 hours." Great. 24 hours pass, still no internet, and no contact from Hyperoptic. I call them today, and I am told that there is an issue with the activation team, and that they will try, but can't promise that they will be able to solve this before the weekend, leaving me without internet for 11/12 days in total. How is this acceptable in 2025? And all of this after probably a dozen calls to customer service, as no one has been forthcoming in solving the issues and helping me out after each visit. The first response to my call today was to try to schedule sending yet another engineer to fix this mythical broken cable (4 engineers for one internet installation). I am very unimpressed so far, and wish I hadn't switched from my previous provider. Each customer service agent I have spoken to has been very prepared and professional, so I can't fault them, but there must be something wrong with Hyperoptic's system as a whole, because this is appalling. Given the chance, I wouldn't switch again.
