"I guess i have to post the same review…"

I guess i have to post the same review since the issue is not resolved despite the wrong claim of resolution from their staff on this site.... we are now over 2 weeks since resolution and I need to instigate all comms, they do not respond to me or other similar customers on the problem:
Awful customer service. Takes over an hour to get through to them, and then they are useless. My Internet has been dropping regularly over the past few weeks, the same for other people in my development. Despite many calls they still have not fixed and are not communicating to us. Stay clear

"A great broadband service. Recommended!"

I have been using Hyperoptic forever a month now and so far I’ve had an excellent and continuous broadband service.

I was initially hesitant to use this company, as it was not a company I knew much about, as they are still rolling out their service, and I did not know anybody else who was using this company. Therefore I was inclined to use one of the more well known services such as Virgin Media, BT, sky, etc, especially as I work from home most of the time and therefore need a good, fast and reliable Internet. However, I liked the fact it was a full fibre service and the fact that the upload and download speeds are the same. Whilst I do not upload a lot of large files for my personal use, with my work I regularly use video conferencing and have to email out large files, sometimes at the same time, so having this extra headroom is useful. Also, I thought that if it was a terrible service, I could terminate my agreement within the cancellation period.

I went for the 150 MB speed service, and it’s been trouble free so far.
Regarding the installation, I was able to book an appointment relatively quickly, (within a few days if I recall correctly), and installation does require a box having to be installed in your property, which then connects to your broadband router. This does require the drilling of holes into your property and laying out of cable, but I believe this is the same with all the other services as well. The engineer who attended was very polite and friendly, and in case it is important to you, he did have disposable covers to put over his shoes so you will not get lots of messy footprints in your house!

We discussed where I would like the Internet box to be located, which did require the drilling of another hole inside the property, but we discussed this and he laid out a wire and recommended where to put this in order to be as less intrusive as possible. The drilled holes into the property and internally, we’re kept off with, what I was told, fire certified plugs.

So, in summary, I was pleased with the speed and service of the installation and, so far, the broadband service has been trouble-free so I would recommend this Internet service.

"good customer service but let down by unreliable product"

Staff at Hyperoptic offer high quality amazing Cutomer Services. However, I have found that even though I’m paying for a more expensive package, they have frequent outages. I’ve called on several occasions to report this but no ‘fixes’ from their end have improved this. I’ve just upgraded with them so fingers crossed when new router arrives
