We like using the revel system in our very busy cafe business.

Revel system has continually updated and improved the system since we started using it over 3 years ago. They are not standing still and always moving forward and leading their customers in technology.

"Michael was great to work with!"

Michael was great to work with. He answered all of my questions and took the time to explain the system and features based on my needs. There was no high-pressure sales that I felt when looking at other products. My business is not yet open so I cannot comment on the actual product yet, but so far the sales and service has made this process simple.

"Such a great experience"

Such a great experience! Our systems arrive in clearly labeled boxes with everything needed to set them up. Once you get the back end set up the front end is easy to use and train your employees on. It does take considerable time and thought to set up the system correctly and I recommend paying for Revels assistance. As with any system you will still have to put in the work. Revels customer service and support are far superior to any other company we have worked with. We are very pleased with their responsiveness.

"Absolute garbage!!"

Absolute garbage!!! I would never in my entire life would EVER recommend anyone touching this POS, not even with a stick. Sales guys are very misleading. In the demo I asked for very specific menus and modifiers and was told it is not available in the Demo but we can easily set that up in the actual menu build out. Guess what... features I was requesting were not available in their system, customer service guys are completely clueless, the whole company is dysfunctional, nobody knows who to contact and who handles what. It's a mess and in the end after deciding to cancel after finding out what a gimmick Revel Systems is they tried to send me to collections after fully complying with cancellation policy. You've been warned!!!!!

"You purchase the system"

You purchase the system. They install it and give you access to online videos that are very basic and leave you on your own. For an expensive system the set up training and support is lousy on it’s best day

Also terrible experience. Do not use if you are independent operator is my experience. In countries where you need a fiscal printer . . . Absolutely, POSITIVELY DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Horrible service, they have been promising rapid response to not being able use basic functions, they blame it on the country, but research shows all countries needing a fiscal printer have the same problem, once you are in their system. This has been going on for five years. The only thing they have done on time is billing, and raising their monthly fee. That process is never late. Tech support, well, im still waiting five years later. I have given up. Implementing a new system that is actually proven to work is where i am going. I consider Revel a loss that cost me nearly 20K.

They pray on the local operator that doesn't have the resources to switch systems. I am switching, and i am shouting to not use them at the top of my lungs. For us little guys we must have some level of trust in our vendors.

I have none for Revel.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

For 2 weeks now we have been using a swipe reader provided by Revel which doesn't work properly, they don't want to exchange it, they have not given us a solution in 2 weeks. We had a big store sale and we lost many customers as we had to enter CC manually unable to swipe bc their product is not working! We are losing money, we have explained this issue in many ways, every day since and still NO SOLUTION so far....

So frustrated, hope you never have to deal with a stupid issue like this one, or you will be stuck with the problem losing business!!!
